Morata is better at literally anything except for maybe finishing.

And even that I'm not sure of looking at Icardi's time at PSG.

Icardi is an excellent finisher but Morata is great with his back to goal. The lack of a B2B or creative midfielder means we send it quickly up to Morata and he holds up play to let the rest of the team come forward. Kean is good running onto the ball, he doesn't have the touch for hold-up play. We don't create enough clear-cut chances so I'm not sure Icardi helps much but if he does, we can send Morata back. This feels like a hopeful transfer more than a calculated one. I hope we get an attacking CM or deputy Dybala.

I disagree. In many games it looks like we dominate and we dont have anyone that can put a chance away. Dybala is the link man when healthy and Chiesa will give us the dynamic aproach that Kean or Morata do now but better. I hate that we are forced to look into Icardi but we need a proven finisher this January and maybe look around in the summer

My only worry about Icardi is that he does fairly well here- sufficient enough to convince the management to ditch Scamacca/Vlahovic in the summer and buy him outright instead

Look at Inter squad when Icardi was scoring 20+ a season in Seria A. Much weaker team than ours now. If it wasn't his finishing skills I don't think he would be Capocannoniere two times. He is cunt but knows how to score goals. Something Morata can't do without ST next to him. Morata is solid when he is the SS a support figure but not the main ST.

This is my opinion. I am not fan of Icardi and don't` want to buy him but 6m loan without option is a good deal.
