This
  • we don’t have any superstars
  • We are broke
  • We hold several dead money contracts for trash players
  • We are in debt
  • We don’t invest, develop and play youth products
What a time to be a Juve fan :touched:
To provide some positivity to these very right concerns:

- We have Chiesa who is 24, de Ligt who is 22, Locatelli who is 23, McKennie who is 23, and Kulusevski who is 21. All of these players have significant promise and would provide significant ROI if sold. Even de Ligt and Kulusevski who have decently high book value for us.
- We are very much not broke, just not in a spending position. Our financial position is actually quite healthy and will only improve once the deadweight on our roster is cleared out over the next 1.5 years. End of 2022/2023 season will see a massive reduction of deadweight With Ramsey, Rabiot, Rugani, and Sandro all done.
- See above. 2022/2023 will be the very much the end of this except for Arthur.
- All clubs are in debt. Debt in and of itself is not bad and we very much control our debt in a good way. Could be better. Much better. Ronaldo transfer very much hurt us and has set us back and we know that now. We knew that when we got him but had hopes of a UCL or something to offset that cost. Instead we went out the the knockout stages against inferior clubs.
- We are investing, see the ages of players above. We are investing in our youth and developing young players with our u23 playing in Serie C and getting MUCH needed experience. Kaio Jorge is another display of taking a chance on youth. And yes as frustrating as it might be seeing him come on as a sub in the 89th minute every match, just being with the club is a MASSIVE boost to his development and i think it will be the step going forward for younger players. Once the roster is cleared out and trimmed down.

It's not all bad and there is light at the end of the tunnel. Our management can be very frustrating and in many ways chasing CL glory and Bosmans has really hurt us short term here. But there is light coming and with the investments the club is getting and the infusions of cash, there is a time in the near future (2 years out) where we will be able to significantly invest and improve the squad.

I don’t disagree with your point of view necessarily.

Just want to state that we have unlevered debt which is bad for any business. We are cash poor. So much so that we are liquidating shares to the public market to attain capital.

Also, buying younger players is not the same as investing in the development and cultivation of home grown talent. 80m on MDL, 40m on Kulu doesn’t equate to farm system academy products. Plus, those investments are high risk.

and finally, if we fail to make top 4 then it’s going to be a long “cold winter” for a few seasons. So financially I’d say the glass is half empty.

Icardi is an excellent finisher but Morata is great with his back to goal. The lack of a B2B or creative midfielder means we send it quickly up to Morata and he holds up play to let the rest of the team come forward. Kean is good running onto the ball, he doesn't have the touch for hold-up play. We don't create enough clear-cut chances so I'm not sure Icardi helps much but if he does, we can send Morata back. This feels like a hopeful transfer more than a calculated one. I hope we get an attacking CM or deputy Dybala.

So we will not buy anyone in January, But don't we also want to sign someone for free? Pogba, Brozovic, Kessie, Zakaria, Kamara...?
Forget Pogba - The fat cunt is his agent, he'll want insane wages, and PSG and Real seem better destinations. They have money and ambition, while we are a sinking ship.

Brozovic - No chance Merda Cunts allow him to walk for free and to Juventus. They have Marotta, not Tootsie.

Kessie - Incredibly overrated, and a greedy cunt too. Apparently he wants 8+ net in wages and he's definitely not worth that.

Zakaria - Too late now. I'm sure he's more interested in and suited to the EPL. He is also a Barca fan IIRC. Has Liverpool written all over him.

Kamara - Is he still dreaming of Barca? I hope we can bring him in, but I don't think it's happening.

We should also forget about Tchouameni and Gravenberch.

Was your account hijacked or something? You used to be one of the most optimistic out of all people here :D

If we release Dybala, we'll have a good shot at him IMO :snoop:

Vanilla 433 with Chiesa - Vlahovic - *Whatever* :tuttosport:
No. Wrong!

The problem is not Dybala. Why 4-3-3? The last time we reached the CL final with Allegri here, he was deploying a two man midfield.

Also, our midfield options are shit, so it should be Locatelli + new mid in the summer starting for us next season. Rovella and others will have to earn their minutes. Guys like Ranocchia and Fagioli will probably need one more season on loan at another Serie A club.

I think we will lose De Ligt - it's inevitable.

Hopefully, we can get close to 100 million for him and invest that money purchasing Vlahovic and a top quality mid (60 + 50).

4-2-3-1 with Cuads, Dybala and Chiesa fanning out behind Vlahovic, and a two man mid of Locatelli and another hard working B2B CM who can pass and shoot.

Yes, losing De Ligt means we'll need a new defender, and there are a few options available at reasonable prices.

Let's see. I think you won't be able to buy Vlahovic + CM + CB just by selling MDL. 100m won't be enough. I'd say welcome Scamacca then, he will cost half the price of Vlahovic.

Who would you guys choose between Morata and Icardi?
From me, there is no trust in Morata anymore, he is so inconsistent and fragile that I will never trust him as main Cf. Thats why I'll say Icardi. IMO Icardi will save this season for us, but we shouldn't really do anything else than free loan.
