I dont think any italian team can afford Vlahovic, unless he prefers to stay in italy.
That's the key right? If he wants juve and is persistent similar to locatelli who apparently just repeated that he wanted juve only then it is possible. How the deal gets done is a different question.

Wouldn't say no to scamacca.

I actually think if we just fix the midfield and give locatelli some talent next to him the team would improve massively.

I’d take Cavani in January, return Morata to Madrid in January and get Vlahovic in the summer.
I don't mind that at all. Cavani on a 1.5 year loan + obligation type deal - he is more reliable than Morata, and could definitely score in Serie A and the CL.

Now, we need to think about that midfield, and no cold or reheated shit like Pjanshit or the other undesirable Asshole Schnitzel.

didn't cavani say no to juve way too many times already? i always wanted him here, but he's too loyal to garbage city, isn't he. could be il nuovo mandzukic with his workrate, a proper box to box striker lol

let's hope that at this stage of his career he gave up on his principles

Again, I said he is not a regista. Regista is specifically the deepest role in a 3 man midfield. He can play that and I don't doubt he would be great at it, but he is not playing as one now.

We lack a Pogba, Iniesta, Modrić etc., a midfielder closer to goal in a 3 man midfield. Locatelli is not that and never has been. He is perfect for this DLP role with two mids.

He only needs a Zakaria or Tchouameni next to him that can also stay deeper when Locatelli goes higher, but can be a presence in the box Allegri likes too.
Yes agree, this midfielder that can be closer to the goal should be our priority in winter transfer window.
We need someone who can link up, score goals from midfield and create key passes. Most good team have it even for Serie A standard every team above us have it. Milan have Diaz, Inter have Calhanoglu, Atalanta have Malinovsky, Napoli have Zielinski or Ruiz

We might be better off with a midget but fast and skillful striker rather than Vlahovic because we don't cross and never score headers from open play.

Since Cristiano left.. Which means we might need someone with a heading ability to make it happen again..
Anyway Vlahovic is very good and will definitely give us something we are missing but Vlahovic alone would not be enough.
We need many changes to the team but I think we can change a lot in the summer if we qualify for the CL.
If we qualify I see Pogba Vlahovic both arriving which will make us look much better.
We would still need to address some things like why dont we really have a LW, A.S replacement and another CM to complete a good midfield with Pogba and Locatelli.

We have that guy (Locatelli) just need someone to free him up to roam forward more. Fortunately we have that guy as well in Rovella.

I was really positive on a big 22 for purchases but this investigation has me worried, especially with the impact that it would have on the capital raise - It could eat into our budget. Hopefully it doesn't, because I was convinced before that 22 would be a massive year for investment.

Well I heard promises about our next young player that becomes a Juve regular but we have two problems:
1. Juve regular isnt what it once was...
2. I remember Chiellini and I remember Marchisio, apart from these two I dont remember a single player who was brought here or raised here and became a regular.
Del Piero isnt really an example as he is more like a Chiesa type of purchase than a Rovella..
Giovinco was the one who should have made it but even him was good enough just for the bench..

I still think Giovinco could have been a good player. IMO he was held back by 2 things: 1) his desire to be loved 2) playing on a Conte team. I remember Insigne was benched on Conte's Euro team in 2016. I would bet that he would be a top player in La Liga given the comparable lack of physicality in that league.

I guess I benefitted though. He was way too good for the MLS and I got to see him score or assist a goal a game for TFC for 2 years. I remember people questioning if he'd be good saying the MLS was physical but he just made everyone look completely stupid for 2 years. Zlatan didn't even do that in MLS.

I didnt say he wasnt a good player. I said he wasnt good enough to be a starter for us.
It is true a Giovinco now would probably start with our current team but luck is a part of the game..

Totally agreed. I think he was just a bad fit at the time. He definitely couldn’t play as Conte wanted him to. It’s just one of those annoying what could have been situations.
