I don't deem 40m that high under normal circumstances 'though. If the financial climate restores, someone surely will be willing to pay 40m for a decent striker who doesn't make trouble when benched, etc.

Maybe too defensive mid then, I would buy one of Kamara/Tchouameni and someone more attacking minded. Kamara looks like great option with that contract expiring. We should be all over him.
Dunno about Badiashile, but if he is that good, then he would be great here - left footed strong CB is something we definitely need.

Yes, but with Chiellini retiring there's a spot for Badiashile and we sold Demiral, Bonucci getting older, Danilo not playing the CB/DM anymore (next season) because he will go to RB/LB (De Sciglio, Pellegrini departure?) so there's a spot for Kamara (can also play CB/DM).

Yeah, imo there is definitely room for left footed CB.
If you say of Tchouameni, I didnt see him much tbh, not very inclined to watch Ligue 1.

Chiellini/Badiashile De ligt/Bonucci next year.

Kamara isnt too small for a CB? With 1.84 m he will be a black Ben White. We will see what happens this season, our team is an enigma for me and i have no idea what we will really need in winter or next summer. We might need an attacker, but its also possible that Kean Morata and Dybala will shine bright.
