11 goals and 9 assists last season, 3 goals and 13 assists the year before. Considering our midfield AND for free, that's an easy decision.
Football is not only about numbers. Nocerino had good numbers but that didn't make him a good player.

If there's any player from Roma worth buying it's only Zaniolo and only if we can ignore his knee problems from the past. Judging from the little I've seen I'd say we should've bough Abraham instead (different position, yes, but much bigger upgrade).

Since we signed Locatelli that means we should be playing 3 man midfield. Having both Locatelli and Pellegri as 2 out of 3 players, yeah, no thanks. Pellegrini as AMC? I surely wouldn't change formation for that guy, 100%.

We shouldn't even consider him but sadly I always had a feeling we'd go after him because he's Italian. IMO he's bench/rotational quality, nothing more than that.

Ibra was the reason for Nocerino having good numbers, who would it be for Pellegrini?

Not even necessarily as a starter. In my opinion, we need new bench players for the midfield too. If we could "replace" Ramsey with him, that's a nice upgrade and for a lower salary.

Ibrahimovic was a reason why midfielder reached big numbers? Nocerino was always shit, it was just one year at Milan when their fans thought he was a WC player which was hilarious.

I'm not saying it's fluke for Pellegrini but you can't just show numbers and say he's a good player. That makes no sense. If you watch Roma you see him do plenty of shit mistakes. Plenty, plenty of those. In so many of their attacks and counter attacks you see someone losing the ball and without even knowing you can almost always guess it's him. He doesn't add much to the team. IMO having both him and Locatelli in starting XI is a horrible thing.

Oh and I wouldn't mind to have him as a bench option but that's not gonna happen and considering our situation we should avoid it. He's 25 and there's no way he'd accept to come here and warm our bench, it's his best years now. It would also be wrong to have Locatelli as our starter for 3.5mln/season and Pellegrini on like 5-6mln so he can warm our bench.

Cavani here is not happening but please don't ever put him in the same sentence as Icardi again. No matter how old he is Cavani is still a professor for most young players.

I think there's no chance we don't buy out Morata next summer, but if I could choose I'd sing now to have Cavani and Kean as two strikers next season. No one better for Moise to learn from.

And also as opposed to his years at PSG his salary would be manageable for us now. He earns 10m gross at Man Utd.
I think there's a big chance. The clause is very high and his salary as well. So both must significantly drop for us to make a move.

I think eyes open for Romagnoli
Certified pussyfag. No thank you.

Will he be that much more expensive though? Vlahovic being valued at 60mil or so with Haaland having a 75mil release clause? At that point, you pony up the cash and go all in on haaland
Teams like PSG are ready to offer €25-€30M net salary. Plus massive commission fees to Raiola and his father.

Would be easy €200M investment to get him.

I think the Berna swap rumors will return. I understand it at some point, but depends a lot on Romagnoli’s salary. Last year the rumors were 7m and he can gtfo if he really wants that. He’s worth half of that.
It would surprise me to see that happen in january. Both of them are free agents next summer and that opens up some possibilities for them.

Neither Berna nor Romagnoli will find better clubs than Milan and Juve.

However I agree, the swap is unlikely to happen at this point.

As for why we would buy him in 2021? Because he's still fucking class.

I remember the time when we were linked to Higgy and he was about to come, people preferred him to Cavani and some opinions even stated he's better and will last longer. If we added Cavani in 2016, wed have won a CL, I'm convinced
