We’re turning into Milan trannies, this is probably our lowest point in last ten years. Last season we had Pirlo to blame for the lack of results, but now it’s obvious our team blows and we’re broke like it’s 2010

I don't think the situation is quite as bleak as some on here seem to think. There are good signs that we're becoming a team again, with players running and working for each other. The good thing about work rate is that it's to some degree contagious on the football pitch, you see the guy next to you running his lungs out and you feel compelled to put in the effort as well.

We obviously need to be smart on the market and with handing new contracts but I think you can accomplish a lot in a couple of summers as long as there is some plan we're heading towards.

Renewing Cuadrado and Dybala, selling Ramsey, AS, Rabiot, Bentancur, getting Scamacca/Vlahovic and recalling Rovella should be a nice start in the summer. Then if possible go all in on SMS and try to get a free/cheap good CM. A starting LB is also a must.

Di Marzio:

Arsenal insists on Arthur . The Gunners would like to try to take the Brazilian midfielder on loan, but the idea does not convince Juventus. Meanwhile, the bianconeri are also preparing alternatives.
In fact, should Arthur (or another midfielder) leave in the end, then Juventus would like to try to give Chelsea's Loftus-Cheek to Allegri. The 25-year-old English midfielder has played 19 games this year for the Blues and provided 3 assists.

The two alternatives are Bruno Guimaraes of Lyon and Renato Sanches of Lille. However, these are two very complicated tracks because they would be very expensive operations.
For the offensive department, Juventus continues to think of Azmoun of Zenit and Depay of Barcelona . However, they are not the only names on Federico Cherubini's list.

The track that would lead to Mauro Icardi continues to be taken into consideration , but it depends on PSG and on the player himself. Juventus would like to conclude the operation with a loan and need an opening from the French club and the Argentine on the formula. The last name evaluated is that of Maxi Gomez of Valencia, who so far in La Liga has played 15 games and scored 2 goals.

One of Renato Sanches or Bruno Guimaraes would be great. One of them + Locatelli + one more midfielder in July/August + Rovella returning next season and our midfield horror show may finally step by step come to an end.

Obviously that costs money and ain't gonna happen. Loftus-Cheek sounds more realistic.

There's a scheduled meeting between Juventus and Sassuolo next week to talk about Gianluca Scamacca [Agresti]

The first of many to come I'm sure :cherubini:
Im becoming more and more convinced that we should sign him. Seeing our circumstances, Allegri does go for the defensive way whenever we face a stronger opponent, but we end up struggling a lot because Morata and Kean cant hold the ball. And they have a difficult task doing that, it requires specific qualities.

Yet it’s the midfield aswel that’s causing many problems. It’s frustrating to see that nobody is able to get past a direct opponent. We need at least a CM and a ST, and that’s the bare minimum.

And I keep repeating that it remains so frustrating that we didn’t give a chance to Fagioli

So much work to be done in this squad, it becomes a endless story. Seems like every week a new problem pops up

The least we have to do is like you said - new ST and CM, but the problem is much bigger.
Imo an overhaul in the middle and new LB is needed.
Just need to get rid of those high earners like Rabiot and Ramsey, but not only them. imo we are up for a big overhaul next summer.
look at this:

Im really expecting we will try to get rid of all the players in the yellow category. De ligt is also on 8m + 4m in bonuses if im not wrong - how could we really improve that contract? its impossible for us and if we cant its the last moment to sell him in the summer.
Szczesny is good but you can get GK on his level and pay him 3-4m, same goes for Bonucci.
I also dont really believe Dybala rumours yet, think he will get the star contract and play for us, but lets see.

So, our agenda is not to spend anything in January and miss out CL next season ?
Then the invested money for next season is there to cover the lost because we miss that CL money

This is so like our management right now, so predictable

Spend now and fix the team so we still can get that CL position fuckking idiot management

I do go overboard sometimes - I will be the first to acknowledge that. However, questioning what I bring to the forum? What am I supposed to contribute? I think I actually give some money every year to sustain it, so I guess that makes me relevant.

I mean, it's a football forum where we gather to talk about our favorite team and the players donning our colors (or ones we wish were wearing our colors, fantasize a bit, and even reminisce about the past).

We're not here trying to resolve word hunger or eradicate poverty FFS!
I think you can eradicate poverty if you want, splash that money
