whats the plan for Schurrle? i think he prefers playing on the left wing (even if he played on the right for Chelsea most of the time) but what about De Bruyne, isnt he a left winger for them? i havent followed them this season, so which position do they use him in? and what about Arnold, is he considered a starter already or is Perisic still preferred? ideally, it would be Schurrle on the left, with De Bruyne and Arnold either at AM or on the right in a 4-2-3-1 IMO, but i havent followed them enough to know how they are playing. and if it wasnt clear by now, with this transfer they showed that they are currently no.2 in Germany, both financially and quality of the team wise
So far this season, de Bruyne has been used as AMC, Perisic on the left and Vierinha on the right.
So now with Schurrle, I don't know what they will do, since Olic is leaving, maybe they are considering to use him as a striker, if not, then it seems like Perisic will be loosing his spot.

If VW want, then they could offer ridiculous wages like PSG..they just dont want to be that extreme and I m not sure how FFP will affect them, as VW is not just a sponser, but owns the club 100%..VW is Wolfsburg. They wont bend over for anybody, but good luck trying.
But, but we have Fiat behind us :bianconero:

What's you opinion on Horn, Leno, Trapp, Karius, Goretzka, Selke, Gruezo, Wendell, Sule, Bittencourt...thanks! :D

and can we afford any of them? :beppe:
Horn: One of the biggest goalkeeper talents and he is rated very highly. Before Xmas he has extented his contract until 2019, but a 9m€ clause was implemented so he ll prob stay at Cologne for 1 or 2 seasons more and then he could think about taking a new challenge. Liverpool was interested and clubs like Dortmund could be very interested too, as Weidenfeller ll leave latest 2016. Definitely chances to get him.

Leno: Another one of the bigger goalkeeper talents. I rate him very highly, but there is still a blunder there from time to time following by class performances. I dont see him leaving Leverkusen any time soon. If u r intzerested in a keeper, then there r other, cheaper options..like

Trapp: Another great product of the legendary keeper school of Gerry Ehrmann from Kaiserlautern. His contract ends 2016 so I think he ll leave Frankfurt at the end of the season. A clause of around 4-5m€ is reported.

or

Karius: Made his breakthrough this season and it was a little bit surprising to see him extending his contract beginning of the year. It is very likely that Karius used his expiring contract to implement a relatively cheap buyout clause.

Goretzka is one of the biggest CM talents. Before he went to Schalke all German top clubs wanted him..Bayern after him for years..also the big guns from England, Spain and Italy. Unfortunately he has been injured this season, but is expected to be back soon. IMO he is going to become the next big thing and its impossible to get him now..he ll end up at bayern in 2 or 3 years. No chance for Juve to get this player.

Selke: Played and won a fantastic U19 EC and also became top scorer. Had a great offer from Benfica last summer, but decided to stay at Bremen for less money. He has shown some good performances for Bremen and is their light at the end of the tunnel. He is still very raw and needs to play one or two seasons before making the next step. Bremen is notoriously skint, so they have to sell him at one point, If he wont extent beyond 2018.

Süle: One of the big CB talents and IMO he is a bomb and ll be WC is some years..he has totally impressed and convinced me. What a player. Unfortunately he ruptured his ACL so he needs some time to be back. Hoffenheim is very well aware of his qualities and he wont leave for cheap. I think he ll stay there for at least another season, but 2016 he could maybe leave. TBO i dont see big chances for Juve to get him, but not impossible.

Bittencourt is a good AM player with good performances for Hannover. Dortmund have a buy-back option, but I have no idea, if they want him back or not. If not, he should be easily gettable.

Havent seen enough of Wendell or Gruezo to make an asssessment.

So only Goretzka looks impossible with Leno and Süle highly unlikely.

Like chester already answered, De Bruyne played as AM behind the striker pulling the strings and running a lot and being available everywhere..assisting and scoring. Arnold has suffered cos of De Bruyne, as he prefers to pay that role too, so he cannot considered a starter anymore.

Its indeed not perfect that his best position is left wing like Perisic, who has totally convinced the last 18 months. Schürrle is pretty versatile though, so maybe he ll play as a striker or right wing..or Perisic can maybe play right wing. Ideally it would be De bruyne in the middle..Schürrle and perisic on the flanks and a new striker to make that fronline complete and deadly.

Wolfsburg have been the 2nd most successful club in 2014, but IMO the squad is still worse than Dortmund. They have some great players, but they dont have depth at all. Let them have some serious injury crises like Bayern, Schalke and Dortmund and they would be fecked.

Since Allofs is there, I like most of their transfers though..buying a few great players with lots of potential instead of buying masses of average players for high prices.
