I guess, Giovinco will never play again this year and Zaza will replace him? I don't know, they are clearly different type of players.

Well I've heard good things about Sturaro but isn't his best position in place of Pirlo? That'd make him our 3rd choice player for that area. I mean ideally we'd rotate a LOT before CL games, so we'd have

Romulo (Once he's back with the living) Sturaro Pereyra in the midfield 3

Of course they'd need some time to gel but in theory that'd be great

Yeah I rate him, very steady player who actually has a fair bit of technique. I said before if he's fit I wouldn't worry about seeing him start in any Serie A game for us.

With Giovinco hardly ever playing, I don't think that would be the problem. But I'm sure Sass will put everything they can in motion to keep him until summer.

What's the point of bringing Zaza now ? even with Giovinco not playing, Morata and Coman didn't have enough playing time. If Zaza comes it will mean less and less time for them. Rather keep him developing at Sassoulo and wait for the summer. Unless we are planing to loan out Coman.
