I would take the risk with balo with low 10m optional buy, and 2m wages. Cant be much worse than llorente anyway. I think juve is maybe the only place balo could blossom at this stage.
He earns ~5m.He wont accept a wage cut to more than half his current salary, lets be real here.

And even on those figures,i'd never want him here.

This douchebag should think about reinventing his career at a mid-table Italian club like Viola or Samp, not Juve.

I think we should keep in mind that if he drops Llorente out of the first team squad he'll become unsellable. The situation with Llorente is pretty $#@!ed up right now because he is playing terribly, he is on high wages and he is unwanted by other teams. I can totally understand why Allegri wants to give him as much playing time as possible, but if Fernando continues to disappoint Allegri will accept that he must be benched for the sake of the team.
Yes probably but not playing his value drops down but this way we lose points .I don't know which is worse?

A deal between Schalke, Nastasic and City seems to be very near..the announcement of his signing is expected today..loan with obligation to buy for 13m€.

CEO Heldt on Sport1 yesterday: "The end of the negotiations is near and it looks very promising. The ink is not on the contract though, so we cannot announce an execution. We are optimistic, that we r going to loan the player. There are still some details to solve."

DiMatteo really pushed hard for his "dream" signing.
When I think what amount we payed for Ogbonna.....

Losing points is worse of course. Risking a collapse and not being able to return to the street of success is the worst that can happen.

Now Nastasic is the new God of defenders all of a sudden. Can't even make the City defence which is about twice as awful as ours...

Is Llorente new benchmark? He sucks less than Llorente at this point, but still isn't someone who will improve our team.
Per definition sucking less than our starting CF would improve the team ;)

I stand corrected, he isn't someone who'll vastly improve current team.

Anyway we're more in a need of creative offensive player, AM/TQ, rather than a striker.

Jovetic is a broken player. No regrets losing out on him. It's just a matter of time before he's sidelined with another injury.

It seems that every deal other clubs make is masterpiece, while we're scraping the bottom of a barrel. Current standings doesn't represent that in any way.

Why on earth would City sell Jovetic?

They've been playing Milner as a forward 'cause of lack of depth.

Granted if they sign Bony they might consider selling him, but it would make more sense keeping him until summer since they've got both PL and CL to compete in.

Or Roma who are selling Destro to Milan.

Roma is linked to Jovetic and Luiz Adriano from Shakhtar. If Roma brings in Jovetic it'd be a masterpiece from them.
That's a very likely scenario at this point.

I still remember a Coppa game when Jovetic literally raped them.

I always had a soft spot for him, ever since his Partizan days. Too bad he's having troubles with injuries because he's a wonderful player. I'd even try to sign him here. Seeing him behind Tevez would be fap worthy experience.

Wilfried Bony links are what made the story of him leaving. But I personally wouldn't be surprised if City lets him go.

Rumours are Pellelgrini benched Jovetic when he was fit and there was no other strikers available. Opting for Del Bosque tactic with an AM instead of a striker. Jovetic has been decent this term, but nothing more and if he can't get more chances then so far he might want to return to Italy. IMO Jovetic is best just behind a striker, in a creative role, and apart from his flair he can actually score goals. Exactly the kind of player id love to see behind Tevez and Llorente/Morata in our 4-1-2-1-2.

No, apparently it's the other way around: every player signed by another club is shitty and unworthy while the same people defend Pereyra as AM. You make it sound like we have Isco here and we're so good in the attack department we don't need any improvement.

People not wanting Shaqiri or Jovetic here but at the same time trying to justify Pereyra or Sneijder :howler: It's laughable you negate everything proposed here while defending ALL Marotta's moves to death. Try to find middle ground dude.

BTW The standing argument will expire tonight, you better prepare something else by then ;)

Balotelli 'was' a young talent when he was playing with us. Now he's just an idiot..I'd be very happy if he signs for you guys, he'll destroy the dressing room
