Then I'll answer you:

Mata (whom i don't like but has been playing good football again)
Kagawa (not the top player he once was but a much better option than both)
Mkhitarian
Coutinho
Firmino
Isco

To name a few. In the Bundesliga alone you could find at least 10 good promising and talented youngsters playing the attacking mid role. Meyer is a name that comes to mind, De Bruyne as mentioned above and Calhanoglu who's been having a good debut season at Leverkusen.
Thank you. That's all I was asking. :D

How much do we think Firimino would cost? @zizinho?

Which is why I'm asking. Is BD inventing another theory to try and blame Marotta for something else or does he actually have something factual for once?
i think it started in the summer when we 1st signed Coman and we thought Rabiot was a done dealio. if i remember correctly, we were linked with lavezzi too at the time and someone here said there is no way they gonna give us Lavezzi after stealing these 2. or was it there is no way they gonna give us Rabiot after stealing Coman...

However you look at it our relationship with psg is not a good one by convincing Coman to reject psg's offer of a contract renewal didn't help it
Isn't that part of the business though? You can't simply not deal with other clubs on the premise they will be pissed because we actually got one over on them.

I don't think they'd sell him, not sure they're open for negotiation at this time. But if they did, it has to be above 30, 35mil i'd imagine.

Thing is nobody seems to be making a move for him, which is weird. His price will only go up.
Isn't it better if no one is making a move for him? I'd think the more people bidding the higher his price would go up as a reaction.

Actually, there are rumours:

"Reports emerging from various sources in Spain have stated that Manchester United are reputed to be winning the race to sign highly-rated Brazilian midfielder Roberto Firmino. Firmino, also thought to have been a target for English Premier League teams Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool is expected to put pen to paper on a long-term deal at Old Trafford during the upcoming January transfer window"

It depends. If it keeps having good performances at the Seleção before leaving Hoffenhein his price has to go up.

*he
I wonder if we are waiting to see how Coman develops before making a 30m move for anyone. For that to happen, however, Coman needs to play.

Instead of trying to find a solution in the market we should simply play Coman.
We shouldn't have waited until January to find am AMC without trying Coman. Now we are rushing to make a move, as you pointed on in the other thread. The only reason we should have to hit the market was after playing Coman consistently (or Gio) to see how it worked instead of Vidal/Pereyra, which we didn't and now we have to react.

Yes, we should. But by the look of things Allegri isn't convinced he's ready for the first team.
I think that's just generally the deal with Italian coaches.

It's pathetic how we never give Coman a chance. Nothing but pathetic.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to leave. He's warming our bench when he needs to play the most.

Well that's the issue with Italy. The only teams that play youth are the clubs that can't afford to buy many players and don't have a choice.

I don't get it. Coman has shown promise in the games he played as did Pogba when he was first signed and yet he hasn't left the field since.
