Is there any indication Falcao will be anything like he was a few years ago? He's not quite 30 yet (although according to rumours he is older than his listed date of birth) and has already had two, yes two, knee reconstruction surgeries done. Snapping your knee ligaments is just about one of the worst injuries that can befall a player.

These sources r just BS though, as Dortmund arent interested to sell him and Schmelzer playing again and showing relatively good performances.

I don't think there are many worse sources than those. I hardly believe such move would be possible. 
Dude you're making a huge mistake if you think we have 68,4m to spend on the market!
Last year we earned 62m with CL+EL and our total was in red by 7m €
So those money are needed to make our total be on 0 or plus depending how much further we go.
If we reach quarters we'll have 12m and they'll be real money we can spend. Leaving the balance sheet in green and having spare money to use without the need to sell anyone.
Now if we analyze our current situation we have:
We just spent 20m on Morata (unless Real buy him back)
Giovinco is going to leave for free this summer
Pepe contract will not be renewed
Leaving us with Coman,Morata,Llorente and Tevez.
We're packed in midfield position adding Sturaro (already our player loaned to Genoa)
Packed with CBs (Chiellini,Bonucci,Caceres,Ogbonna and maybe Barzagli)
We have 2 older strikers. A young promising (Coman) and Morata (which we overpaid imo)
While we have 3 LBs and two of them are adapted since Asamoah is a midfielder but playing as LM our only and true LB is Evrà which isn't doing good ..... that's should be a hint.
On the RB our only man is Lichsteiner and we still don't know if he is going to stay or go. Caceres is the only alternative to Licht but that's not his natural position.
So to sum it up imo this summer we're going to get RB/LB (promising ones i hope and wish) like Versajliko (i think he's already ours else why join Sassuolo if he had offers from Milan and Roma??) and it WOULD BE good if we could get a World Class striker.
I wish we sell Llorente now and bring in Falcao if MU doesn't want him.

So in the end we'll prolly buy some L/RB Berardi and a Striker. We will not get Rugani back but loan him. As we already have Bonucci,Caceres,Barzagli,Chiellini and Ogbonna.
So unless we sell a defender we won't buy another one specially if we switch to the 4-3-1-2 or 2-1.

so to make a trio Tevez-Falcao and Cuadrado and having as benchers Coman-Morata-Berardi

I think last year income from EL+CL mainly spent for new contract wage bill, i.e: pogba (new 5? year deal with reported 4 mil salary/annum, so 4*5years= 20 mil), and maybe some of those needed in other sector like continasa, of we just save those as contigency plan (iirc co-own rules is issued before summer mercato), conservatism or stuff like those if u know what i mean.
Still with roma knocked out, we don't have any competitor for tv right and other revenue stuff from CL, fresh money from adidas, barcelona banned from transfer window (less 1 big competitor u know), etc. Make next summer mercato fappable.
