no. it's jut that he's been pretty meh past two seasons. personally i would pass on him.
Yeah, he was last effective in 2012-2013, where he was a top player (11 goals for an AM). The last two years (particularly this, since last year he still netted 7 goals) have been more rough. However, my feeling is that a good part of this has to do with Benitez who I frankly think is the most overrated coach in the world (and by virtue of his bloated, league leading salary of 3.5 million EUR, the most overpaid). I wouldn't be surprised to see a turnaround with a different coach.

I'd totally welcome a loan with an option to buy (assuming Napoli would do that). A Hamsik that is performing at his best is the exact type of player we need to play in the hole, and he is only 27 years old.

Hamsik is apparently rumoured to exit Napoli. That might be a decent opportunity given his age and his seemingly perfect suitability as the CAM in the 4312.

----Tevez-Llorente---
---------Hamsik-------
--Vidal---Pirlo----Pogba

He's 27, and probably cheaper than he has ever been in the past given his recent struggles.
So you wanna get Hamsik, a player that obviously dont Work in the advanced midfield role, and play him in the exact same role at Juventus hoping for a different outcome?

Thats just brilliant.

hamsik on cheap could be worth a shot but napoli would never sell him to us.

anyway the squad is missing a real playmaker. the only playmaker we have in the squad is a 35 year old pirlo and he is being replaced by marchisio in that DM role.

i still think we should go for Mata on loan if possible
