i want to write something about these new rules from the FIGC and how they can affect our summer mercato. by that new rule, we can only have 25 players in our roster, 4 of which must be developed by the club itself + 4 which must be developed by some other serie a clubs. since Giovinco is leaving in the summer, Marrone probably too, we are left with only Marchisio as a player we developed. we will probably include a primavera GK (or one of our own products that is already playing elsewhere like Nocchi) in that list and get rid of Storari/Rubinho. we will also probably keep Mattiello like we did this season or include some other players from the primavera in the squad if Mattiello is loaned out. now lets look at the current squad (+ the players that will return in the summer).
GK Buffon, Storari, Rubinho, Leali
DF Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Ogbonna, Lichtsteiner, Caceres, Evra, Rugani
MF Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal, Marchisio, Asamoah, Romulo, Pereyra, Marrone, Padoin, Pepe, Coman, Mattiello, Sturaro
FW Tevez, Llorente, Morata, Giovinco, Gabbiadini, Berardi
thats 31 players. now we have to remove 6 players from this list. Giovinco (he doesent count bacause within the 25 players we must have 4 own youth products), Marrone (same as Gio), Ogbonna, Pepe, Storari/Rubinho (or both), Leali (might stay if both of our two reserve keepers are gone), Padoin and Gabbiadini/Berardi. now look at the reduced list. we have 2 keepers (Gigi and whoever stays of those 3), our 3rd keeper is gonna be a primavera kid. Ogbonna left, Rugani takes his place. Padoin left, Sturaro took his place, Pepe left, Berardi/Gabbiadini took his place. with Gio and Marrone gone, we are left with Marchisio, Mattiello, the 3rd keeper and another primavera player (or keep Marrone).

now this is the squad we can work on. from here we have to look who are the likeliest to leave and we can see how our summer mercato will go. Licht and Llorente (maybe Evra too) are the only i can see leaving. Vidal has a small chance of leaving but i doubt he will go. considering all this, and that we have to pay for our players coming back, and for Romulo and Pereyra too, id say we arent gonna make any significant signings this summer. that new rule and the payments we have to do are really limiting our options this summer. what do you guys think?

Chiello is counted in the 2nd group (players developed by other serie a clubs). he played for Fiorentina until he was 21 or so i think. Coman will count as a player we developed but only in 3 seasons (he must play 3 seasons with the team before he turns 21)

but it doesent really matter where he is. what matters is that we can have only 25 players and that 4 must be our own youth products. with all the players returning i dont really see us move for any player in the summer (unless we sell someone)
