Prepare yourself for another Nostradamus lecture and his condescension of how this player wouldn't have any intention to move to Serie A, and that we're far from being an attractive side to lure that kind of talent here.
Didn't watch much of Bundesloliga this season, well it's been ages since I've seen a game (excluding Dortmund-Bayern) from there. This guy any good? What kind of player is he? Characteristics?

beat me to the Nostradamus comment.he is HALF right though. i asked him a few times about Meyer and he was telling his usual story about germans not wanting to play in serie a (which i disagree with, he makes it sound like they are leaving Bayern for Genoa or Inter and not some midtable BL team for the champions of Italy). but he also said that Meyer has a very high release clause (even higher than Draxler if i remember correctly which was around 35-40M) not sure if that is true though.
so i think he would love to play here (ofcourse) but that we cant afford him if he has such a release clause...
I'm not even sure we need him. IMO we should focus on Coman and Berardi when it comes to this (youngish) type of players. Having Coman and Berardi and adding a more quality player to that should be enough. We're not that far from becoming good but we need a man that will put those pieces into a whole thing.
Hopefully Allegri sticks with the 4312 and does some experiments with Coman/Giovinco/Tevez/Pereyra/Pogba during the rest of the season. We shouldn't be buying anyone in January if we can't buy pure quality and instant improvement type of players. Let's see who's good enough to stay and who will have to go. Later we can buy once we'll know what we need.

We might not need him but we need someone LIKE HIM. Neither Coman nor Berardi are or have any experience as a trequartista, do they now? And i don't know even know why you labelled all 3 are just "youngsters". Meyer has a completely different role as to those 2. And we can't be relying on experiments.

I admit I don't know the kid and I assumed he's someone new getting into the scene (so he could be compared to Berardi who had even better numbers last year). If he's proven then yeah you might be right. My point stands still though: we're not getting anyone in January. We have to find solutions within the squad and I think it's doable considering what we have. We might not go too far in CL and struggle to win SA again but I still think we can do well with what we have. Besides hoping for real improvements in January is wishful thinking.
Th emost important thing is that we're moving in the right direction with the 4312. We have options as for now and someone like Coman deserves chances this season. Especially as AM since it's his position.
