Also the fantasy football/football manager remarks are retarded. You can't suggest dropping 2 vital players, playing a 4-2-3-1 with our current squad and then call people out for being influenced by a game
Pretty sure people suggesting a radical change in our starting XI adopting a system we are about 2 players short on being able to execute successfully are the ones being influenced by a game.

I'm talking about the fullbacks, the 4312 that Pirlo's beard is unable to fullbacks for example against 433, because the back 4 is busy with the 3 strikers and when the fullbacks go forward the diamond (which is the most important part of the 4312) disappears. Cruyff explains this in a utube video

As there are centerbacks (the ones who defend the center of the back 4) there are sidebacks (the ones who defend the side of the back 4).

The guy is 26 FFS! I don't really want him here, but Mata isn't that old, and his game has never been about pace.
Specialy then offensive places you need People who can beat Theis man, Mata can't! He isn't half of the player he was two years ago..

Nothing suggests that Mata peaked. His last season in his favourite role he was one if the finest players in the world. The fact that he had problems with mourinho and then joined the worst united in history does not mean that he has already peaked. You make it seem as if he is nani.

Which is exactly what I am saying. Defensive or tactical formations has very little to do with the initial formation and is at this point far outside the boundaries of this discussion.
A 4-2-3-1 with Llorente up top and Vidal behind him is simply a 4-3-3 with different numbers to please some fans. It's much more sound defensively in that ONE position, but let's not drag te complete balance of the team in here. We can never judge that without actually seeing it.
But I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. Any formation with wings can be scratched from the list this season 'though. A 4-men backline is possible but also holds a risk.

Seriously, watch him play.. What does he offer? Mata is like Riquelme! He is a fantastic footballer but is missing that extra something. When you play just behind Attackers you need to be able to beat a marker , and he cant! I know he had a good season at Chelsea, but that's two years ago now. If we are to buy Mata all a game must go through him, and he just don't offer enough creativity to be that man!
We have many fantastic footballers, but we are missing the man who sometimes closes his eyes, and take on his marker.
Alves is just one year older and he is ALOT better then Licht offensively. Basically can be a playmaker on the wing back position and dribbles better then most wingers. Issue would be his salary and motivation levels. But if we get him, I would expect he would be as excellent as an older Cafu was for Milan (even if latter is or was more a professional).
