Just sign Tielmans to study from Pirlo 12M should do it and our mid is set for many years
If Morata performs we need a young star to partner him but lets see how Coman fairs.. who knows we might have a Coman-Morata partnership in the future...
as for the defence we need 1 star CB

It does seem like Allegri is a puppet with Conte's hand up his arse. We just look like the same team as under conte, but a bit slower and probably with less heart and motivation/aggression.

The new coach just needs to be open minded and come in and make the team their own. This is what hasn't happened under Allegri. He has been cautious from day 1 with this team.

But the biggest issue is that whoever comes in needs to clearly understand you need to make changes and win with limited budget.

but lets honest in something. Even without budget...our current crop of players ofer enought flexibility to at least try new ideas against the palermos and all the rest of the serie a rejects that come to park the bus at the Juve stadium.

thats like getting thrown out of plane with no chute and being expected to land safely; all the conte badmouthing is really funny considering hes the one who moved us away from the archaic 4-4-2 and won with a very limited squad by being proactive and changing systems to 3-5-2.

So what you are really asking for is a conte while at the same time badmouthing him, it;s almost as paradoxical as that sentence in bold.

Exactly my point. To lose in Juve stadium against minnows we must plAy REALLY BAD. If we cant try new things in those games, we never will.
Why potentially sacrifice points when the 3-5-2 almost guarantees full points? If we play a 4-3-3 and lose, wouldnt allegri be worthy of criticism? We'd say "he has the proven 3-5-2 available that the players know and are used to win by". We are getting great results in serie A and this should not be disrupted. A new formation should be tried on a european night if and only if the 3-5-2 doesnt work during that game. The only time I would find it rational to change formations in Serie A is when the 3-5-2 fails (almost never) or when we are already 2-3 goals ahead. Otherwise I'd rather have the 3 points than risk it for an experiment. They can experiment different formations at the training ground or when we've got nothing to lose.

Yeah, if things start going downhill for us it would make sense to change. Till then better to stick with proven system. In Europe though I think it's time for some change as what we've been seeing in the last 2 years will bring us nowhere.

@Mark, are we doing anything currently about young players from serie a? Scuffet, Zappacosta, Murru, Baselli, Mauri, Cerri, Belotti... i know we are following some of there but how realistic it is that we might sign some of them? i like most of them and would like if we can sign some...

I think we'll go for Zappacosta and the Parma kids and because we always give millions to Udinese every year Scuffet is also possible.
