I really really doubt Firmino will go for less than 35mil.
yeah (i still think he could go for a bit less, around 30M but it will depend on the teams interested) thats why i added "for us". Lotito asked 30-35M for Candreva from us. what do you think he'll ask for a talented Brazilian player thats playing in top form? the guy is crazy, he would raise the price double if we were interested

It's about time we made a worthwhile investment. We have been penny pinching for a fair while now. How much would Lacazette cost? 30?
Probably, probably even more, the guy has scored 44% of Lyon's goals. 30-35M would be my bet.

44% in Ligue 1 I believe.

19 goals in Ligue 1, 1 in Coupe de France, 1 in Coupe de la Ligue, and 1 more in Europa League. A grand total of 22 goals, + 5 assists.

holy molly

People exaggerate a bit, well, a lot. He's been off this season but throughout his career he's been a solid goal scorer. There's no comparison with Pereyra.

I personally am more interested in the chances he'd create for us. He's got a good eye for the killer pass.
about this i agree. he is probably a bit off form, he didnt "forget how to score" overnight. the whole team is playing bad, its hard to shine in such circumstances

But you said he's impossible, at least according to Mark :p
then Anderson is even more impossible :D, its Lotito were talking about

The way i see it, if he turns out to be World Class or at least convincing enough for the big bids, they'd make a killing out of this transfer. So selling us - for cheaper - would be a very stupid move from them and I don't think they are that stupid.

IMO those 2 Brazilians are impossible to get right now. We don't have the kind of money to compete with the EPL vultures.

im kinda hoping his form drops a bit for the rest of the season and that he doesent shine at the Copa America (isnt Oscar starting ahead of him anyway?). maybe some other players will have a stand out tournament and that could turn the attention off of Firmino. atleast thats what im hoping to happen. but even then it is a big question if we would even try to sign him. Anderson is even more impossible. but as i said, thats only what im hoping for, not much reality in it...

anyway, to me its somehow unlikely that we will make any significant offensive signing. i think we have big expectations from Coman, Morata and Berardi and we 1st want to see how they will turn out...

Mkhitaryan would be a difficult move but I think it would be a good one. He had a great season for Dortmund the previous year, this season Dortmund as a whole have been complete ass (well in the league at least).

If we're going to continue with this 4-3-1-2, I don't see why not.

The thing is AM is useful in every single formation you never regret having creative AM and if he has great finishing or long shots, you win the lottery. Every big team in EU has one :). I agree Mkhi would be a cup, especially for 1-2 million for loan and 17 for buy out :)

Nastasic had potential but meh, people here somehow mistook him for prime Nesta at some point judging by the level of fapping everybody was doing. Was getting benched so hard by shit & underperforming CBs that half the City fans forgot he existed.

Look, he is surely promising and has the talent to play sometime in Europe, but his perfomances this year, when he got the chances with River, he was really really bad.
This year, i guess he will take some playing time, without stress to prove himself. He needs time to develop, in Argentina. Then, if he show some potential, he can take a chance to a big team, because he is really talented.
