He is no saviour. We can't afford WC players but we still need more quality in attack, and he's the best we can get right now. He's not a player to build a team around, but at least we'll have an extra attacking outlet in the team, in addition to Tevez and Pogba. He should help our counter attacks too

No, not really. I have my doubts about him. Great in Basel but what I have seen from him in Bayern isn't good. Can he handle the somewhat rigid and inflexible football style of Italy? Doubt it. I think he is more suited for Germany, England or perhaps Spain.

I would give him the benefit of doubt if we can sign him fairly cheap. But I don't think six months is enough to give him a fair evaluation. He needs somewhere between 12-18 months and do Juventus have the tiem for that?

Mata is starting at ManU, he would have been great but no go. Firmino would be ideal for me but I guess Hoffenheim are waiting for oil money. Isco plays more and more at Real so no go there also. Draxler is destined at Bayern or the EPL. Chelsea instead of selling one of their playmakers probably want to add to them so next on the list Shaqiri ain't that far. For ~15m is a perfect Beppe deal. Too bad he can't play in the champions but you can't get a better player now who could. Play 6 months here in Serie A and prepare yourself for the next CL.
Very good deal if it happens, not great or excellent but what can you do.
