I have finished seaon 3 and the preseason didn't go as I expected, I wanted Maresca so bad but he didn't come.
I offered 25,0000 + 1100 salary and still he thought it was not enough.
I offloaded all my UNKNOWN/FREE-TRANSFER youngsters to make space for better players.
I ended up off loading:
Morini "attacker"
Seigl "CM"
Ricci "CB"
Nikolic "CB"

THe incoming players were:
Ferrara (he is now 19 years old) = free transfer
Paolo Cannvaro = 15,000 credits transfer fee.
Caraciolo = free transfer.

You can see that I didn't get anyone in the midfield which is not good. I was really betting on Maresca to come. I need someone to help Rosicky as a CM.. Now I am playing Emerson when ever I need to rest Rosicky. Its a long season and he has to have the good rest to perform till the end.
I will be bidding on Maresca again this winter :)

dude why not sign someone like kallstrom?or even heaven forbid...james milner??

If u play them they get stupidly good.

Ok I will let out a secret, I am a very biased person while playing PS2 lol.. If I play with a player who I actually like, I will play really really good. Thats why I try to select the players who I like. lol.

But I am realistic when it comes to performance. There are many players who I like, but if I don't need a player or it will cost me alot to bring him in I won't. Team comes first :) .

This team is insane...passing fluidity is perfect...like a vintage arsenal.

Best player?? Either the #10 genius that is Baumjohann or defence god that is Vandenborre.

The youngser have mature nicely moulding a near perfect team for my playing style.

Maybe it's because you play on six-star difficulty more often, it's not so much easier or more difficult, the AI just plays differently.
