Yow, Can any of yall "computer nerds" help me out with some that I wanna do with windows ME but not sure how to and if it can be done.

I know for sure it can be done on XP.

I want to hide all, and I mean all, of the Desktop icons. That includes My Computer and those annoying other icons.

Anyone knows how to with Win ME??

If so, please help!

Although I've not used Windows ME the procedure should be like all the Windows family. Just right click on the Desktop and a context menu will appear, hover the mouse pointer over Active Desktop and and an extension menu will be displayed - Click on View as Web Page and that should hide all the icons on the desktop.

That works in '98 as well, doesn't it? I remember using that option some time ago before we got XP...
