Our own chances are 50-50 if you ask me. Not like Palermo and the rest are renowned for their consistency. Will be tough and interesting to see.
Palermo, Napoli, Samp will all lose a number of games, I'm also pretty sure of that.
Problem is that we'll lose a lot of games as well, so I'm not sure if it's really 50-50. I'm afraid it's less.
I expect us to lose tomorrow, so the Atalanta game this weekend will be absolutely vital in terms of our how we're going to react against a weaker side.

There is one team all of you seem to be forgetting about.
Fiorentina.

If you check the standings you will see that they are only 4 points behind us and 6 points behind 4th place. But there is one minor detail we forget when we count them out of the 4th spot battle: They hit amazing form. In the last two rounds, after they were eliminated from CL, they beat Napoli away (no-one else did it this year) and then they destroyed Genoa.

If you check their schedule you will see that it's very similar to ours.

1. Juve play Milan away, Fiorentina play Milan away
2. Juve play Catania away, Fiorentina play Catania away
3. Juve play Inter away, Fiorentina play Inter at home
4. Juve play Udinese away, Fiorentina play Udinese at home
5. Juve play Bari at home, Fiorentina play Bari away
6. Juve play Atalanta at home, Fiorentina play Atalanta away
7. Juve play Parma at home, Fiorentina play Parma away

The only differences are:
1. Juve play Napoli away---Fiorentina play Siena at home
2. Juve play Cagliari at home --- Fiorentina play Chievo at home

Apart from Milan and Inter, all Fiorentina's opponents are from the 11-20th place. Considering their and our form, I can easily imagine Fiorentina nullifying the 4 pts difference between us and eventually overtaking us and even Palermo.

If Prandelli manages to get the 4th place for the 5th season in a row, and especially if he does it this year when only 10-11 rounds before the end his team was 10th placed, I will have to retract most of what I said about him.

Maybe my fear isn't justified, but I see Fiorentina as our most dangerous rival for the 4th place.

We beat Fiorentina and we can beat Napoli.

Simplicio out is quite a loss for Palermo.

Chiellini is going to be absolutely vital, without him we never get any points. Bayern home and Fulham away would never happen with him playing.

Camo needs to be fit and used maybe Candreva instead, we need to create and play some football.

I'd say it's a 40/60 - Irony is that we'll probably end up not qualifying, needing only the two points we threw away against Siena

^^ it's the small teams that worry me, not the "big" ones...we simply have no idea how to go through teams that are willing to defend more than they are willing to attack us

When will Amauri come back?

At least if we can send some balls in the air in area, he has a decent chance of scoring. Could be important against smaller teams

Chance of Amauri scoring are as big as us ending with a clean sheet. Possible, but wouldn't count on it.

I will tell you WHY...Because there is no other thread which shows, OUR remaining fixtures, as well as our direct opponents for the much coveted 4th spot in the table. Which I have NO DOUBT, many juve supporters are interested in reading, and I have no problem in updating the initial post of this thread as circumstances change...so...instead of showing yourself to be a beagle, why not comment constructively???

A beagle?!?!?!

A fucking BEAGLE!!!!!

Anyway, in my opinion, I,like Andy, think that Juve is going to have to rely on the misfortunes of others in order to grab that 4th spot. Granted, Juve needs to have a little luck on their side for the next two months, but the state of the team in its current condition does not give me any confidence that it can be done.

I hope that I will have never been more incorrect in my opinion than I am right now.

A beagle. I can't fucking get over that.

Its hard to say really. All of teams already mentioned have proberly the same amount of chance (if not better). its going right to the wire. Our injuries will continue to rot our chances, itll either be a scraper, fluke.

In other words No, lets just fight for europa instead..
