I DO enjoy discussing our hopes for the future, rather than our horror at the present. In terms of who we should keep, who we should hang...and what we expect for next season...as in a return to battling in the top 3, or lesser expectations of aiming for 4th as our main minimum target. Or whether people feel that we may well stay in our newfound lowliness of potency, for much longer...

I don't know. I've just noticed that there hasn't been a single football discussion that I can be bothered to get involved in recently.
    I know what you mean.

A lot of the more interesting games recently have involved Man Utd, Barca or Inter and it is virtually impossible to have a reasonable discussion about any of them round here.

TGP: You guys pretty much need a changing of the guard. New vigor would do Juve miles of good. The issue isn't so much talent as can be seen by the results from the 2 prior seasons, it's more about getting players into the club that will buy into the attitude, atmosphere, and system. You guys can change coaches as much as you want, but the results aren't going to change unless the players are committed.

    :agree:

And what Red said aswell. The lynchmob is lurking in the shadows whenever a team like Barcelona gets mentioned not followed by endless insults.

Pretty much. It's what by far most fans want at this point. But a change of the guard would pretty much have to start at the top, because I don't think they will see the light any time soon.

I really don't understand the mocking for the thread, when 'will juve get fourth?' is one of the MAIN questions all juventini are asking each other and the gods....I will update the first post NOW...

basically we need 4 more points from our last games, than samp or palermo can get. Unfortunately, much depends on Milan. as they both have to play them, as do we. The reason we need 4 points, fuck the goal difference, is because our head to head statistics are loathsome...Against Palermo. Against Samp, we are better off in the head to head stakes. And if i am not mistaken...in italy, such decisions of league standing are based first on head to head encounters, before taking overall goal difference into account, if at all??? Not that goal difference matters, as our's is shocking.

I hope it goes down to the last game of the season.

It's possible... Only if Zacc and the current squad get their act together. Although I doubt we'll beat Inter on Friday, I still got faith in them. If theres one thing I noticed this season is that we play well against the giants, yet play not-so-well against the not-so-giants.

Inter are always a different story, we beat them in the home fixture, when things weren't exactly going great. I don't think we'll win, but I doubt it we'll get raped. Also because Inter have plenty of other competitions to be exhausted / distracted by.
