Spanish football is much more open than italian, teams have more open spaces to play, lateral defenders dont press too hard,
the offside tactics is not as used as in Italy. The main objective is to score goals and the rule is "let them play,we play better"

Italian serie A is a more complex game, is like war were strategie and tactics play more important role.the main objective is to win the game and the rule is "lets play and dont let them play"

different ways...fortunately

I'd still choose Seria among all the league in the world !

Lige might b better then seria A only in 1 thing and it's about R.Madrid Players.... but if we talk about the style football in itlay , ( defence , attack ) wer'e much better then la liga, In calico it is knows as Strongest League in Defence for the strikers to score , so this shows how difficult it is for the player , well as in Liga u can always see the score 4-3 , or maybe 5-4 , some ppl of u think it's about more goals then it's defence, but it's also about defence , how it's played ...P.s we can't compare the spanish teams to the italians ...(Real , Barca , Valencia , Depo ) while in italy ( Juve , Milan , Inter , Roma , Lazio ) maybe just to describe milan and juve would b enough for these 4 spanish names i've mention ....P.s i still consider Premiership stronger then la liga !

If you like to watch goals and just goals then I recommend u to turn to South American football (Spain is a European example) and if u want to watch a repeated copies of the same game with different names u have the premiership , but if u want to enjoy the real football u will never find better than calcio

more peopLE that do not really understand soccer say that scoring is the best part. i love the hard-workin defensive midfieLder. the job he does is simpLy spectacuLar. soccer is much more than scoring

Well its simply a matter of taste. But i can say, if i could watch both italian- AND spanish football here in Denmark, then i would choose italian 10 times over spanish.

But again, im a juve fan :D

its different stroke for different folks. the top 3 are obviously italy, spain and england and now the french league seems to be coming up very nicely.

italy still is the most technical, which is why players struggle to perform as well as they do in england and spain when they join an italian team. But the EPL is very fast, and its exciting, even though defence is less tight. Spain is a mixture of the two. it does have better defences than england, but also gives good attacking football displays. that is not to say teams like milan, roma and juve dont display great offensive play at times.

so in the end, its personal opinion. what i do like about italian football, and i think milan shows this the most right now is that the team is very well balanced and it has great depth. and the quality of football is simply brilliant.

You can't say one league is better than the other. It's all about taste.

Just like Arsene Wenger once memorabily said:

"It depends which you like more – vanilla or chocolate ice cream? Both can be very good but, personally, I prefer vanilla".

Vanilla being the Premiership and chocolate being La Liga.

Personally, I like the way football is being played in Italy. Here it is very thorough and the coaches study every detail of their opponents and tactics. Every build up is carefully engineered. In Spain and England you see the fancy moves and the goals alright, but I wonder if the coaches really bother with tactics and plans. Its like they are playing a different version of football, lol.
I agree with you. I think football is much more serious in Italy, just look at the crowds, they are unbeatable. Every aspect of the sport as you said is engineered. And even if some like it or not is defending a very important and essential factor of the sport, and also remember that the scoring average per game is almost the same in Italy and Spain. In my opinion spanish football is as boring as german, and not to mentiond the (dead) crowd!.

its good to be able to watch different championships, you have something to choose from. though of course i prefer italian tactical and strategy game.

i just remembered that 3 years ago when i was in england i went to chelsea match at stamford bridge, and i did siilly thing saying that italian football is wayyyyy to interesting than british and i was lucky enough to get back home without all beaten up.
