I can't imagine Milan in their sane minds would go for it.

But the more I think about it, it's more what we need. We clearly can no longer attract top-tier, top-Euro players. So we have to be scrappy and look for value players with something to prove who are a little out of favor this year. Cassano fits that bill.

This team may have to scrap its way to the CL again before it can consider signing any top talent for a while.
