@Bezzy, how exactly did you update this event? Did you move around/rename the betting options or just updated the odds?

    I am afraid not :p

updating the odds is perfectly fine but when you change and/or rearrange the names, the previous bets would not follow suit i.e. I remember placing my bet on Giovinco and now it is on Asamoah. To avoid this issue, you have to keep the options in the same order they were when the event was first created.

plus the odds are misleading i.e 10/1 = 11.00 decimal wise and not 10.00 which is infact 9/1 and so forth
    are you a bookie?

what an useless system :D I thought it saved all the options already. cos in this case it makes no sense to update them in the first place
maybe @Marty can help me out?

    - - - Updated - - -

why does that matter? fact is 10/1 is not 10.00 in betting decimal terms
what the fuck are you talking about
    10/1 is 10.00 or 10.00000000000000000000000000

you know the word margin? you clearly don't
    did you study economics?

    and check the other threads
don't you ever compare this to the betting agency cos they have margins to win money. We are a non profit betting thing so members can have some betting fun with FAKE cash.

you know the internet is not the real life.

    stop comparing it  :lol2:

i don't need to study economics or have a degree to see the bloody obvious as i said if i place £1 on a 10/1 bet then my decimal odds will be 9.00 because i win £9 profit not £10 profit. capishe?

you talk about margins then again you fail because it is in the same column as odds there for it is mis leading and wrong, don't even try and fight the facts because you are wrong

the vbookie only enters the 10/1 part in creating the event - that 10.00 you see is the system doing the conversion on it's own.

and that decimal there is merely the multiplication factor for the total winnings that corresponds to a 10/1 odds, it's not meant to signify decimal odds. In that regard, titling that entire column with "Odds" may indeed be a bit misleading but there is nothing the vbookie can do about it.

want to take me over? i didn't make any mistake.
If I want to take your place as a bookie? Prolly not. I don't see the fun it, but maybe I'm missing something?

But didn't you mix up the names so people's bets got mixed up? And didn't you translate the decimals bets into fractions the wrong way? :)
Not that it's a biggie, but it's kind of funny when a bookie fucks up the only two things they are supposed to do right. :D

andy you compare the real life betting system with this fake system
    that makes no sense
yes the real life bookie have a whole calculation behind it with their profits etc etc etc
we are just a simple betting thing

just as acmilan says. We can't change a thing and that is why i asked you the first question if you are a bookie. Cos if you were or have been you should know how it worked (here then). So stop attacking a system when you don't know the system behind it.

Didn't know this. :) Janna gets a bit love back then. :)
Stupid system though. People who aren't familiar with the decimal system will get screwed. :D
