Spain also has his fair share of notable absentees:

Raul Garcia

Victor Valdes (I don't no whether he has thanked for the NT or he's being rated not good enough)

Luis Garcia (ex Barca + Liverpool, not the one from Espanyol)

Jose Antonio Reyes

Ruben Baraja

David Albelda (Although last 2 mentioned had a bad season)

Joaquin (Koeman described him as having a worth of 30 million and the efficiency of 30 cents)

Vicente (Always injured and fragile)

Fernando Morientes (Would have been nice as pinchhitter, although his age is catching up on him)

Pablo (Was in the squad for WC2006 under Aragones)

Antonio Lopez (The same as Pablo, and Atletico didn't have that bad of a season)

And ofcourse not to mention Bojan and Raul.

Spain have REAL depth in their selection because they left all those mentioned players home and still have a phenomenal team. And yet they never seen to deliver on tournaments while on paper, they have the winners material, but they don't have the winners-mentality.

Don't see what Bojan has done that Guiza hasn't but that's my opinion. France is the oddest team considering they left Mexes vs. Boumsong,Trez vs. Anelka/Gomis, Sagna vs. Clerc/Sagnol, Flamini vs. Diarra, and no Clichy. I mean Domenech must be on crack
