I really don't get....some of you are trying too hard to make fun of the fact that we voted for Del Piero. What's the big deal? Should we all vote for someone else we don't really know much about? or we don't really think they are as close as Ale?

    Get over it FFS.

Thank you Jeeks: this is much netter than I thought it would be.

As for my vote, I guess I'll hold my fire, as it might just tip the balance.

But as players (talent) and not Juve Icon [and I will debate that point too] I would have problems placing DP anywhere but the bottom of that particular wonderful pile.

For me he is a very good player and great servant to Juventus, but for football ability the others are far better.

I only vaguely remember Platini: I remember seeing clips of him, but I felt that it was more commentators' :)pumpkin:s ) hype than him being special. Therefore, he didn't create as good an impression on me as DP. I don't really remember the others, but as Boniperti scored 180+ goals for Juve, he must have served Juve well over a fairly lengthy period of time, so he would be second IMO.

That is not a way to talk about Platini. He was a genius, something that Del Piero will never be. Although DP has the most scored goals that doesnt mean he is better than Platini who won 3 Golden Balls. Dont forget that Del Piero hasnt got one Golden Ball award. And Del Piero played way more seasons than Platini in Juve.

I know that everybody here likes Del Piero the most, that he is in yours heart, but the fact is that looking at football skills, DP definitely isnt the Best number 10 in Juventus history.

Everybody with common sense know that Platini was better than Del Piero. It is completely other thing that Del Piero is more loyal, loves the Club more, loves the suppoters more,...

Anyway, even I cannot objectively say who is the best no. 10 for Juve as I never saw Sivori and Boniperti.

Define best? well, i think in terms of technical ability, dp is ON PAR with baggio and platini, just he doesn;t hav the personal awards to prove it, but he got a world cup medal, euro cup runner up medal and champions league medal which Baggio and Platini lack of..
it's very hard to compare those 3 as I have only watched DP and Baggio played..but my vote would go to DP..coz u r saying AT Juventus? i think he really contributed a lot for Juve, and i am damn sure he will end his carrer at Juve..which the other two super stars did not do.In terms of reputation, buisness prespective, Del Piero IS JUve biggest and far most well known ICON. just like Raul to Real, Maldini to AC and Totti to Roma..so, my vote gotta go to DP. and DP will win this contest hands down..
Forza DP, i'll wait for your 200th goal!~ try to make it 250 soon yeah? =)

but what i'm trying to say is, if we remove our emotions aside(+stats) and compared the 2 technically. i think that Platini is a much more all-in-all player.
    this is only my opinion.
anyways as some of the guys previously said we're comparing 3 ballons d'ors to nothing.
    :agree:
Completely true, mate and that is not only your opinion.

Compared head-to-head Platini is way more skillful than DP.

In his time he was the best goal-scorer for Juve 4 seasons in a row + 3 Golden Balls.

God knows who would be our King of goals if Platini played more seasons in Juve.

And he wasnt even an attacker.

I d say Platini was a better football player, Ale is a better and more loyal person.

actually comparison like this doesn;t bring much meaning, it just rose up more and more debates..it's just like pele vs maradona? whos the better no.10?? endless debates and discussions...
i suggest another poll:"who's the most favourite number 10 player for Juve?" i am sure DP will win it without any debate..hehehe...

i agree tho football than u where allowed alot more free space without being hacked down now if u pass someone be sure they will b hacking at ur heals! Football was different than to it is now! It is hard to comapre Del Piero to Totti or to any top player! they all have different qualities! But playing in different times makes it near impossible!

You wouldnt be talking like that if you lived in Platini time.

Come on, be reasonable, Platini is paired with the likes Maradona and Pele by football experts.

Dont say me that Del Piero is in that category, please.

Yes, I like Del Piero too, he has done a lot to Juve, but as a football player, well, he is not one of the greatest in history.

And BTW. Platini has won a Champions League with Juventus.

if this poll is about who was the best number 10 (with just the position) at juve , although zidane wasn't number 10, he played in that type of position, and in terms of ability he was better than both del piero and platini
