True enough, but if you come back with the same question in 10-15 years time, I feel that all the Zidane/Baggio fans will be of the same opinion as the rest of us;

Ale is The Greatest Bianconero Of All Times

Everything in our history seems more important, more meaningful, more great than things that are happening in the here & now. Once Ale's contribution becomes a part of that history & he is long retired, only then will his significance to the club become legend. This man stayed when leaving was the easy option, he is the one who will lead us back to Serie A, he is our all-time leading scorer, he's played his entire senior career for us. He is one of us, a true Juventino, a fan. This is obvious when he plays, when he scores, when he speaks of his love for the club & the shirt. How can anyone of us doubt his greatness or his place in the pantheon of legends to wear the black & white. He will be seen as the greatest, and then the poll will be far from worthless.
See you in 15 then. Ciao

That's really good for you, I have been thru this too and came to that coclusion too, that it is just a waste of time.. you just can't discuss with these fools logically, it is indeed a disease :D

btw, you must see those idiots' reaction, when DP scores, like "you see, we were right, DP is the best player", they would even celebrate the day if DP scored, even if Juve lost.. Nah I am done with them looong time ago :disagree:

Erm, yeah, right.......................

So because we see past the media-bias towards ZZ, & Italys obsession with Baggio, now all ADP fans are happy to see Juve lose as long as he scores? Andd we're the ones with a disease? Ok. Nurse, he's out of bed again...................

It was not media bias, he was just that good. When he played alongside ADP there was not really a comparison, or at any other time too.
Baggio was also better.

In your video they repeat each trick three times and it made it just over three minutes. Zidane's video is more than 7 minutes and that was ONLY from what he did at Madrid, I shall not mention his days in Turin nor the WC and the EURO he won. Now soap it.

zidane is the best player i have ever seen, even alex the great cannot compare to this guy in terms of football talent

I like the way you think and argue: it is grossly unfair to compare DP with ZZ, Platini, or even perhaps Baggio. In this culture where only the best is appreciated we grandiose those who may not deserve it. DP does, but not for being a better player than some of the others, but for his loyalty, commitment, love and record.

It would be rather fairer to compare him to someone like Roma's Totti (who was quite excellent last night and should immediately be begged to come back to the Italian national side).

Sadly yeah, you passed through this too and thankfuly you realized that your "dislike" for Del Piero will go no where but to yourself. I've seen lot of you people bashing him for stupid reasons and criticizing him for nothing. The thing is that you people should get over It. He's currently the most loved player in Juventus history, and time to realize that Zizou has retired and finished his career at Real Madrid but not Juventus.

I don't know the likes of Bianconero's(the member) problem with us Del Piero fans or "fanatics" like you usually call us, which I love it btw....What's the real Issue here, Del Piero is loved by Juve fans and his own fans. I fail to see what's really disturbing you with it.

You keep on talking about Del Piero's fans, yet IMO they represnt nothing but loyality and honour to this Club. FFS, stop bashing and making fun of Del Piero fans, It's getting you no-where. Or another options you people can do, is find an Idol you can support, or keep defending Zlatan in favour of Alex, like lot of you people did in the past.

It's a nice way to call Del Piero fans (Idiots) It's an honour for us coming from you. It's such a nice way to insult them just because they do nothing but go happy and celebrate Dp's goal. What a classy way to call these fans.

Remind me just one time....Just one time where we Celebrated when Alex scored and Juve lost at the same time....Just remind me of one game.

Last but not least.... Save your dislike/hate for him somewhere else, this is Juventus forums as far as I know...and the Captain of this club is called Alessandro Del Piero...So by your theory, we Idiots will continue backing up our Captain.

    Cheers:pint:

How can u decide who is better than who??? Statistics? How they dribble?Number of Goals ? All these things are relative...even FIFA could not decide who was the best between Pele and Maradona...ADP and ZZ are both big match players who rose to the occasion when it counted most so we cannot say who was the best...both have/had their pros and cons...it is simply a personal choice...so u cannot say that Ale fans are "fanatics" and blind in their love for ADP...

the thing is when comparing ale to zizou (only on terms of a football basis) is that with ale's great successes there have been many bad points (screwing up in the euro 2000 final for example) but with zizou there have been so many good points but hardly any negative one's, so in my view that's how you seperate them, i would say though that if you compare them both from the age of 20-23 ale was arguably better than zizou, when i'm hopefully in heaven, i'll ask god what would the del piero story have gone like if he didn't get that terrible injury
