Here is my idea:
Bring back Maresca, buy Chivu (cash + Appiah) or Andrade (cash + Montero or Tudor)\
very simple

BRING BAGGIO BACK !!!!:D:D
YeAH!! The 27 year old Baggio (if only life was that good).

Seriously though, we need some CBs and a good creative midfielder, atleast to help with nedved's burden.
Some how I think Juve wanna use their young CBs as cover, like this Masiello guy.

Juve Set Sights On Mascherano
1/19/2005 12:57:00 PM
After Appiah’s recent failings with Juventus, the Bianconeri are looking for a midfielder to add onto their squad during this January transfer window.
River Plate’s Javier Mascherano is now being touted as the player on top of Capello’s wish list.

In order to sign the player, the Biacooneri must beat Inter and Chelsea’s stiff competition.

If the deal gets completed, Appiah will need be sold in order to free up a non-EU spot on the Juve squad as Mascherano does not yet own a European passport.

On the other Hand....

Juventus general manager and transfer guru Luciano Moggi announced the Bianconeri’s transfer activity for this January window is officially over.
“Juve sold Iuliano to Mallorca and loaned out Legrottaglie to Bologna. With these two moves, our transfer market is closed,” he said, before giving details on the Mutu transfer.

“Livorno signed the player, and will turn him over to us. This is a technique that many Serie A teams have used in the past, like Inter with Gamarra,” he said.

”We are now waiting for the transfert to arrive from England. Another week is needed before everything will be complete, and then Adrian will start training with us.

“The latest problems between Chelsea and Mutu are between them two, and don’t involve us. These won’t hinder the completion of the move.”

Nope, but it's one hell of a team. With players like Thuram, Del Piero and Trezeguet on the bench we'd have to be one of the strongest teams in Europe.

Why does everyone assume because we dont want appiah and todur that other clubs would want them? IMO people always include these shitty players in swap deals but the truth is that no one in their right minds would accept these swap deals.

Because a player isn't Juve quality doesn't mean that he wouldn't be useful for another club. We don't need Appiah but smaller clubs would love to have him, similarly so is how Iuliano and Legrottaglie aren't good enough for us but will command first team places at their new clubs, Mallorca and Bologna respectively.

Tudor was wanted by Feyenoord in the summer, but he snubbed them because he would rather sit on the bench at Juve then play in our shitty league for low wages.

Oh, and Legrottaglie said no to Feyenoord as well about a month back.
