Davids would have stayed if we weren't so stingy with the bling. I mean, we're paying Del Piero ridiculous sums of money to sit on the bench and play inconsistently every few matches. Look how weak we are without Davids. He deserved what he was asking for IMO. A quality player who we're sorely missing

why ?? these threads give us ideas about each members' opinion
then give good ideas, or open good threads, not like who is better, chimenti or del piero? (no offence to anyone).

how can you compare two players who play different positions?

Do you know, if we're so tight on the money (and I don't blame Juve for this, money comes money goes), Juve can actually ask for a reduction from DP's salary and so it isn't exactly dp's fault that he's paid so highly. All Juve needs to do is ask DP for a salary deduction and if he agrees thank god, but if he doesn't THEN we can ask him to leave. Why can't Juve just go for that option?

I disagree, the obligation shouldn't be on Juventus to take the initiative in this situation. Juve love DP too much to even think of asking for DP to take a salary reduction. If anything, Alex should offer it himself

Well Graham how many players come and offer salary reduction? Very few. Plus like I said if they really love Del Piero and also the club and we're really tight surely they can just ask for salary reduction just like Lazio did?

But Lazio were completely cash-strapped, we're in a different situation.

The obligation isn't on the club's part to ask him for a favour.

That's like you saying to your boyfriend "I'll get you a birthday present if you ask me for it, but otherwise you can forget about it".

This is the qustion that we must answer ,a lot of you dp lovers (i dont know why) know that davids has no replacement (appia or maresca or tachi cannot take his place and you all know that) while dp has a replacement (nedved or miccoli or even devaio).
sorry guys nut i think this thread is RUBBISH!!
