i experimented with it on trezeguet,he didn't have a star when i first started the game but after i enhanced his stats using the editor and started another new game he got one.

Well, the fans probably liked him more. It depends on performances really, players who play good become fan favourites IRL too. Anyways, thats what I read at Sigames forum.

Using editors is not a shame, I do it all the time, mostly to improve players that are underrated in the game, or decrease stats of overrated players. I've made Olivera a big talent, Legro, Iuliano and Montero shite, Tudor injury prone, Camo inconsistent, changed jankulosvkis position, etc, etc.

All to make it more realistic.

Yupp....I do it too.....but after some time game becomes boring....I have my ideal squad that cant be beaten and thats it.

Tudor already starts pretty injury prone.
I'm not going to alter Montero after one particularly poor season.

Over-rated players include:
Joe Cole, Michael Owen, Steven Gerrard, Vieri,

i'd say overrated palyers are montolivo, pazzini, padoin etc.

Miccoli, at 35 now, is scoring every game for me. He's just bagged his 200th league goal for Juventus alone as a matter of fact. I'd say that's overrated.
