CM is too easy imo......and I haven't been playing that long. After getting tired from my 7 back-to-back scudettos with Juve, I decided to start a new campaign.......I picked Atalanta, and in my first season I win Serie B and promote and halfway in the season in Serie A, I'm in 4th place or so. Where's the challenge!! :groan:
Juve are sometimes too easy and the fun factor does drop. However, I've been with another club and just moved to Juve, so I had to completely revamp the squad to avoid annoying the fans/board. I also didn't have much money because the previous manager was so insane. So it does get fun trying to rebuild after someone else has made all the mistakes. But even now it's getting boring, I won the Serie A in April and if I win it again and get the Champions League I will quit the club at the end of this season. It has enough decent young players to be dominant for years.

Atalanta are a very good team hence why you are doing so well.

I had a nice challenge in Brazil with a third division club. It's fun because you are playing matches almost continuously week in week out, there is no long summer break. Also the league system is wierd and finishing top of div2 means very little in the long run, you then have to do well in the two leagues that come after that! So it's a bit of a pain, with all the hoops you have to jump through, but pretty awesome when you finally get to play against the players like Diego, only 2 years after being in a third division group of no hopers.
Romario is currently managing my old Braz club. Unbelievably, he's sold off 8 players and bought one (only because the fool left the club with only one keeper). This is despite me leaving it with a "Rich" status, so he has plenty of money.

I was with Juve until 2008/2009, and I missed the Coppa once. All other trophies won every year. :D

Inter are not unbeatable, although they always apply real pressure.

Last season I was in second place on the same points as Inter AND the same goal difference (whats the chances of that!) for three games in a row! They were top because they beat me earlier in the season. I began to think I was destined to finish second. But after Christmas, I got a new attacking midfielder and everything went well. Roncatto hit form again finally. Normally I do badly after Christmas, but this time I managed to win the league by April.

The tactics I used were 4-1-2-1-2. I think it depends highly on individual instructions though. My DM is very important, Ultra Defensive and Closing Down Always.

Although Lucio is great, I prefer Burdisso - Mexes partnership in my defence. They are both great and young enough to be better than Lucio.

i signed Burdisso once and he was a total waste of money. paid 22million pounds. got tricked with his stats. also Alex from Santos which is currently at PSV have a very good stat but he's shyte on the pitch for most of the times.

Mexes has never done well for me. At CB he's been average at best, but I trained him to be a RB and he's excellent there.

Burdisso never succeeded in my Juve team either. Maybe it has something to do with me not being very patient, I dunno.

Same here. I didn't pay as much as you, but I was utterly disappointed with Burdisso's performances.

Well I've managed to qualify for the Euro 08 by the skin of my teeth.

I will have to quit Portugal after that though because it's bloody stressful! I use Juve tactics, and similar players yet everyone under performs! :(

    I have this right now:
    -----------------------Ricardo----------------------
    Ferreira--Rocha--Carvalho--can't remember
    ---------------------Tiago--------------------------
    Ronaldo------------Figo-----------Quaresma
    -----------Igor----------Postiga-----------------

Igor got injured so I played Vaz Te in the crucial game and it worked out wonderfully. :)

As for Juve, my youngsters keep on getting injured. However, one of them has finally made the jump to senior status. Roberto di Chiara moved up when Gasbarroni got injured. This guy has 20 for acceleration and 19 for pace. Not bad on the technical and mental side either. He's played three senior games and got 7s for all of them. So I'm happy about that. I think next season he can replace Nedved who's getting on a bit. I have four central defenders I'm keeping my eye on who I want to fill Legro's place because he's 31 or 32 now and will be slowing down over the next two years. Two Frenchie and Two Brazilians. One of the Brazilians has 19 for flair (a central defender!) and the other is "Unsporting" they could be risky. My favoured Frenchie Guy Guichard has been spurned by the u21s although I think he's better than the other one Eric Gomez who keeps getting called up.
As for the rest of the youngsters, my squad is so young that I think I will just have to sell them off.

Jurado, the git, wanted a new contract, I said he could have one if he played well. I gave him one, but then he whinged a few weeks later he wanted a new one. Someone else complained about this before- they don't recognise the new contract unless you only give it to them when they complain. His wages were about £10k, his new contract took them to £28k. The one he wanted was £42k!!! I ignored him and now he dislikes me and wants to leave the club. I wonder if I will ever be able to win him over again because I want to hold onto him.

I also can't flog Pazzini even for £2m. His £12k a week wages are looking like a bit of a problem now. I thought I'd only have to pay them for a while until I sold him, now I have to get rid of him in January so I won't make so much profit.

I think Legrottaglie and Cannavaro is the best CB's in CM0304, they never played under rating 8 for me throughout the season. Lucio is also very good.
