does anyone know how to control your players? I mean my Milito kept making mistakes for cynical tackling and last man tackle.....ref kept sending him off.....I try giving him warning but it kept happening again.....I dont want him to be like Mexes......hated me and went to Villareal for free:groan:
Lucio hates me, I fined him 2 weeks wages when he got a red card against Manyoo in the CL 1/4 finals, which I subsequently lost 4-0 because of him. He's been requesting a transfer ever since.

can you reccomend me some?

It doesnt really matter, I get 3 or 4 coaches with Goalkeeper coaching 20 and 1-8 with Outfield coaching 20, and some 10 physios with physiotherapy 20. Get them from lower league teams, from C2 and C1, they have low wages, some 40k € a year, so they arent too expensive.

in my game dortmund want €54mil for tevez.
In that case, I wish I was in your game! I have £46m transfer budget left. Sold Appiah to Real Madrid for £29m, I couldn't refuse really.

I play two DMs, and my first choice are now Blasi-Tachi partnership. Replacement is Tudor. If pushed, I can play Demichelis at DM, but I specifically bought him for defence, so.....

I think I need another young quality DM. My choices came down to:
Sylvain Armand (£12m)
Simone Padoin (£26m)
Augusto Recife (£20m)
Angelo Palmobo (£37m)
Daniele de Rossi (~£50m)
Edgar Davids (£1.2m)

I think I'm going to push on with the Padoin transfer. Palombo was my first choice, but at that price it will be shocking. I would have spent £90m on transfers.
My other option is to bite the bullet and use it all up to try and get de Rossi. I may not even have enough for him though. But his asking price is only going to rise, and I want to best team possible. A Blasi-De Rossi partnership would be awesome and would serve me for at least 10 years (if the game lasts!).

I wanted to get my Appiah replacement in the transfer window but it all fell apart. I have to play till Christmas hoping Tachi and Blasi can hold out. I can now play

---------------Buffon-------------------
-----Fabao---Cassani----Demichelis
Gasbaroni---Tachi--------Blasi-----Zamb
----------------Neddy-------------------
----------Roncatto---Miccoli-----------

I want to see Miccoli maybe pushed out by Saimon/Jurado, Gasbaroni challenged by Moore, Neddy challenged by Edu, and Tachi and Blasi getting some decent competition for their places.

I think I may have to go for it over Christmas and buy de Rossi. This will require some selling though. I'm thinking Maresca, Zanchi out to raise the funds.

Current transfer record is £50m for Real Madrid getting Rosicky. Man U spent £46m on Stankovic.

I just won the treble in my third season and I'm looking to make some changes. I'm switching from 3-4-1-2 back to 4-4-2 so I needed to get some full backs. Transfers for Padoin, Evra and Chiellini have been agreed, and Stipe Pletikosa is going to be my back-up goalkeeper.

too much
Well I have the money which I'll probably never have again. I want a decent DM, so why not?
I can't wait because his sale value will just rise and rise, so I need to get him now. Besides, my £50m transfer funds will be swallowed up by the board if I don't spend it by the end of the season, and since my squad is not yet complete, I think it's worthwhile.
Put it this way, his sale value went up £6m in a month.

My Juve squad in 06-07:

GK - Buffon, Pletikosa
DR - Bonera, Padoin
DL - Evra, Chiellini
DC - Mexes, Ferrari
DC - Ujfalusi, Milito
MR - Gasbarroni, Brighi
ML - Reyes, Espinal
DM - Blasi, De Rossi
AM - D'Alessandro, Diego
FC - Cerci, Tevez
FC - Onwuachi, Del Piero

I sold Kapo to Inter for 53m. As a matter of fact whenever I want money I just sell to Inter. Other sales include Davids (18m), Appiah (15m), Zambrotta (45m) and Henry (45m). 176m in total :D

Btw, has anyone ever coached Gonzalo Rodriguez? In my game he has 20s in heading, marking and tackling...

Yeah, Gonzalo is usually one I go for after a few seasons (because of the EU signing rule). In some games he is like you said (those 3 attributes are the main ones for defenders I reckon, but they can be useless without Anticipation, Positioning and Teamwork). However, sometimes his speed is really low.
He also tends to be quite a dirty player, which can cost you dear if he does it in the box.

I think I need to get with the programme and convert to Euros :D

    What is it now, about £1 = €1.5 ?

I just beat Salzburg 11-0 on aggregate in UEFA Cup 1st Round.

2nd in Serie A. Inter top and are in great form. Roma are worrying me with their attacking options; Totti, Cassano, Santa Cruz, Simonetta. Yikes.

Still, Roncatto has broken his post-injury duck and scored some crucial goals. Miccoli is still having problems though. Although he recently scored a ridiculous screamer from no where.

Montero is 35 and still "world class". Totally awesome but with Pace and Acceleration both at 12. So he's pretty slow, but not THAT slow. Still, he'll surely be retiring soon. I even gave him an extension until June 2008.

Barcelona are interested in Maresca thank God.

Portgual is going bad though. Defence is shambolic
Lost 3-0 to Romania (die Mutu die ;) ) and scrambled a 1-1 draw with....Belarus
