Which fictional - literary, film, tv, play etc. - characters do you most associate with? and why? I would say pick one but characters are often two dimensional and don't represent the complexity of the human condition. Here are mine.

Arthur Dent - The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

I relate to him a lot, its how I feel I would react to that kind of situation and I get his world view.

Sheldon Cooper - Big Bang Theory.

I am I suppose slighy Aspergic in that Social Conventions baffle me and I don't understand or enjoy the vast majority of them.

Oh, and if I have to pick one, I'll pick one as a specific time in my life and not as a general rule... because I don't identify with anybody as a general rule.

Once when I was working my job at the time, having to lay off a bunch of people during the dot-com bust, I identified heavily with Javier Rodriguez, Benecio del Toro's character from the movie Traffic. That should tell you something...
