Nice thread, Dru. My list features places from my own Penn State's State College, Pennsylvania.

My favorite would be the Pollo Pizza Pie at Faccia Luna, State College's Finest Pizza place, brick oven-style. Has copious amounts of chicken, pesto, peppers, and other seasonings. http://www.faccialuna.com/

Second favorite place would be The Allen Street Grill, with dishes such as Crab Ravioli and their Chesapeake-Style Crab Cakes. Beautiful place that sits over the main street (College Avenue) right in front of the Penn State Campus, with traditional picturesque university views from the second story. http://www.allenstreetgrill.com/menu/index.html

Third place is more of as bar with great food than anything else. The Deli it's called. Great sandwiches, great dinners, and the best selection of tap beer in town. Plus I know about half of the people that work there, so they give me great deals on drinks. Love you Martina. http://www.dantesinc.com/thedeli.htm

Will do. I've known about it for a while but I'm not the biggest cereal fan out there, so I haven't bothered. I'll go there for breakfast next week.. it's literally on the main street a few blocks down from my new apartment.

    Best Places In Charleston:

    Italian: Fazio's

    Asian/Sushi: Ichiban

Steak: I haven't had a restaurant stake in so long but I hear Soho's is good

Mexican: Rio Grande (damn good, authentic, salsa is actually spicy)

I hate going to a Mexican place and there salsa tastes like tomato paste. But yeah that may be an idea, especially if they have good pitcher prices.
They have all the best beers in the land, including Stella on tap. But really, the pizza is the best I've ever had in my opinion. It's very different from the usual New Yorker sort of pie; it has more seasonings than the usual stuff here. Best pizza ever IMO.
