well i wouldnt mind goin 2 dubai 4 shoppin but i wouldnt want 2 live there the place is a mess their taxi drivers r foreigners n their police 2 !!!!!!

and its the rulers of Dubai who made Dubai, and Emirates.
and itz only durin the festival therez sum foreignerz..
otherwise there are many locals working there and their really good at that.

well it depends on where do u want to stay!
if u stay at a hotel like Burj al Arab (the world's only 7 Star Hotel) (pictures posted by Mona above)
then ofcourse it is expensive
but if u stay at a 4 star or 5 star hotel then it is fair!!!

i can tell u for sure that dubai is way cheaper than many other countries including most of europe!

i think Dubai is a great place. even though it's a Gigantic market place, i think there alot of good things about it.
It's relatively safe, unlike many big cities in the world. So i guess it would be a good place to raise a family there and still not be far from businesses and stuff.
There are big Amusment parks and water parks.
The cultures there are diverse.
It has nice beaches.

though you would need to be a bit rich to live there and really enjoy it.
one more thing, the weather in the summer is intolarable! :stress:


So, it's not just the pretty buildings that make up a nice city.

now, i remember my mom telling me that.
i can't believe people still use the term Pen-DUTCH even though they know it's "Deutsch!"
