No, they are not. #5 and #6 are qualified for the Uefa Cup + the Coppa Italia champion, that is Parma, Udinese and Roma. Chievo could have played Intertoto if they wanted but I'm not sure if they did. :undecide:

Chievo were the first team to be asked if they wanted Intertoto (cos they came 7th last year) but they refused.

Intertoto is not good for them. they have made the right decision.

even if they get to the uefa cup through InterToto, they know they don't have much chance to do well in the uefa cup AND in serie A (the most important thing)

Maybe they wouldnt to very good, but more games=more money, especially in European games. A small team like Chievo can use all the money it can get. Hell, we played in InterToto.

but we are Juventus and we can do well in the uefa cup and in the serie A together.

if they get relegated with a big help of the points they'll lose while they played in the uefa cup, the money worth it?

and not much money at all

No, we played Intertoto for the sporting prestige until Celta kicked us out :D
 sporting prestige would be to get knocked out on purpose so you could concentrate on proper competitions
