Lydia, dic; per omnes
te Deos oro! Sybarin cur properes amando
perdere; cur apricum
oderit campum, patiens pulveris atque solis;
cur neque militares
inter aequales equitet, gallica nec lupatis
temperet ora frenis.
Cur timet flavum Tiberim tangere? Cur olivum

sanguine viperino
cautius vitat, neque iam livida gestat armis
bracchia, saepe disco,
saepe trans finem iaculo nobilis expedito?

Quid latet, ut marinae
filium dicunt Thetidis sub lacrimosa Troiae
funera ne virilis
cultus in caedem et lycias proriperet catervas?

"Live peaceably, be open, do what you feel is absolutely right, and don't judge anyone."

Or at least that's what it is for now. It used to be, "Too much is almost enough."

Where do I begin considering the fact that there are hundreds of volumes of books revealed by Baha'u'llah (the founder of the Baha'i Faith) and the Bab (which means the Gate, since he paved the way and opened the doors for the comming of Baha'u'llah)

Well the principles of the Baha'i Faith are based around three fundamental concepts:
Oneness of God, Oneness of Religion and Oneness of Mankind.

Those three concepts form the foundation for our beliefs and root into more detailed teachings and principles. In the official website of the Baha'i Faith (www.bahai.org) there is a small list of a few of the basic teachings. Here they are:

the abandonment of all forms of prejudice
assurance to women of full equality of opportunity with men
recognition of the unity and relativity of religious truth
the elimination of extremes of poverty and wealth
the realization of universal education
the responsibility of each person to independently search for truth
the establishment of a global commonwealth of nations
recognition that true religion is in harmony with reason and the pursuit of scientific knowledge

I can go on forever about the history (a very interesting one) and about the religion itself, but I should refrain myself ;) Ask me any questions if you want, I'd be more than willing to answer. You can also visit the official site of the Baha'i Faith at
I really like that. Can you give me the title of a comprehensive text that's available in either French or English?

This is my phylosophy...

Life is a mess (just like my college desk), but if you enjoy each and every individual element of it (and don't consentrate too much on negative stuff), life as a whole will seem like a very enjoyable experience.

so you put animals before other people?
It was more of a don't-harm-others thing. You know, doing something for your own sake and jeapordizing others. But generally, I guess I'm more inclined towards animals than humans. :D
