So, some Juve matches will be in the same dates with some of the national teams' matches...

Italy-Ukraine October 7
Georgia-Italy October 11
Juventus* Brescia October 8

This problem won't happen only once during this season, but it will be repeated three times...

In fact, also Frosinone-Juventus, Juventus-Napoli and Bari- Juventus, will have the same situation when their dates come in the same periods of:

Italy- Scotland march 28 2007
Faroe Islands- Italy june 2 2007
Lithuania-Italy june 6 2007.

It seems that the 17 points are not enough obstacle in the road of Juve this season, and unless the Italian Federation finds a satisfying solution for this problem quickly, I think we'll be much affected...

We have 9 players that may join their national teams at these matches and as a result will make an absence in Juve:

David Trezeguet
Jean Alain Boumsong
Robert Kovac
Giorgio Chiellini
Gigi Buffon
Mauro Camoranesi
Marco Marchionni
Valeri Bojinov
Alessandro Del Piero

More problems may join them too. e.g. Tudor if he's recovered from his injury...

So, this problem has to find a soultion that won't make our punishment looks harder and harder...

this is not fair

i liked the italian team before just because juve players were there and after our players win the world cup they put us in b and now they come back to take our players again i will say we dont give them our players and let them try win games without them and then they will believe how juve is important

i think the management said something abt that before. We want our games to be delayed ,so we can have our internationals back.

we could take the risk and play, cuz the internationals will not be in the best shape to play and the schedule would be too conjested.

but lets see if the management could get something from the FIGC

Juve ask for match delay
Juventus have asked the Lega Calcio to postpone their match with Brescia, originally scheduled for October 8, until October 18.

The Bianconeri claim that at least six of their players will be called-up to play for their respective national teams and therefore have asked for the Serie B match to be moved to a later date.

The news was confirmed by Brescia, who believe this may represent a dangerous precedent.

“We want the Lega to know that if the match is moved to October 18 we may ask for the same treatment in the future, seeing that we also have players who star in their national teams,” said Brescia sporting director Gianluca Nani.

In the meantime Juventus are preparing for Saturday’s match against Vicenza, as they look to make up for their disappointing debut against Rimini.

Coach Didier Deschamps was not pleased with his men’s work on Wednesday and was heard screaming at the team after the training session in Vinovo.

The Frenchman is convinced that Juve still need to find the right attitude to face the Serie B challenge and invited the squad to concentrate and be more humble.(ch4)

btw i think ADP and Trez wont even play even if they be called for the NT. trez hardly even played a game in WC, and DP was coming of the bench.
Marchionni maybe a sub as well. I dont know about Chiellini.
the only problem i think could be is Buffon, 2 games in 2 days? to much. the rest we can play some other quality players

i think thats true. i dont see us being affected a great deal with national team call ups. i mean we will be affected some way or the other but it wont be catastrophic. btw what happened to 17 pionts being removed completly, i heard juventus were still trying to reduce the penalty. if juventus do suceed what will the situation be, i mean the pionts we have collected so far from 4 games where will they be.

From Channel 4:

In the meantime, the Lega Calcio seem set to postpone Brescia’s Serie B match against Juventus, originally scheduled for October 8.

The Bianconeri had asked for the game to be moved as many of their players will be called-up by their respective national teams.

Lega chief Antonio Matarrese is expected to move the match to either October 18 or October 31.
