Could be indeed. The connection goes back a long way; they are pretty much the only two modern languages that both originate from Saxon.
sweet, I'm semi-right.. :D

Isn't German also originally from Saxon, too? :undecide:

 .. So you understand my suffering, right?
Let me put it this way.. by the first 12 months, _everyone_ in my class was cursing the IB. By the last 24, people were too sick of it to even bother cursing anymore. :D

Arabic eh  Mine was history.
Oh, lol, mate I think you misunderstood me.. The language the essay would be written in is Arabic.. The topic, I'm still unsure of.. :p

How is that possible, doesn't all IB work that isn't a language course have to be in English, French of Spanish? Otherwise, what's the "International" in IB stand for? ;)

I was very happy with it at the time, but looking at it now for its "scientific" value, I would have to agree it merits no more than a C. Nice exercise in professional writing though, probably the toughest and most gruelling piece of writing I ever did, sure spent a lot of time on it.

Ah, what you have to understand is that "International" is nothing but a front.. ;)
