com'on man, Ferrara is old. Montero-Tudor would be the perfect partnership but Montero is also losing it a little bit, in the World Cup he had quite a few mistakes that make me a little nervous for the upcoming season. As for Thuram, Munitis completely embarassed him until the second half when the French Center Backs had to come and help him out. I don't think Juve should have bought him (especially for that kind of money)...Rio Ferdinand cost Leeds 19 million and he is just 23 (his price now is 30 million)... our transfer spending last year was very questionable, i guess we were frustrated at not winning but, it should never happen again
Absolutely first class observations:D

btw haven't heard about andres d'alessandro for some time now, how's he doing?
Well, according to Moggi, Andrés is to week to play in SerieA.
But then again, it could be one of Moggis transfer-tactics to suggest something like that, so he won't put any pressure in other potential buyers, as Juve maybe want to study D'alessandro for another year or so before making a move.....

In the post for July 16th,when Vieri said that he prefers Lippi,is he talking about for the Nazionale or that he would like Lippi to coach him at club level?

Vieri claimed that Lippi would've done a better job in the WorldCup than Trap did, and that he prefers Lippi to coach him in the Nazionale.

That's what I hate from the press - Vieri gets away with it, had someone else like Del Piero or Totti have said that, then they would make a huge fuss about it .. same thing happened when Vieri missed that easy chance against Korea, no one is complaining .. while people still blame Del Piero for Euro2000, its not fair :undecide:

Unfortunately players like Dp, Totti, Beckham, Ronaldo etc who the fans can't get enuff of will always sell papers. lets put it this way, which paper will sell the most, the one with Dp as the headline or Vieri. press aint silly

i agree with denco, i mean players like del piero and totti have a huge fan base, both in italy and worldwide, therefore the press will always try to twist their words in order to make 'big' headlines and sell. vieri on the other hand, hasnt been loyal to a certain club until inter lately, he could only dream of del piero and totti's fan base.
