You guys know search engines like yahoo and google, right? So how do they generate those huge databases of links to search from? You think they have people who manually add page by page? Nope, didn't think so. They have web robots, programs that follow links on the web and index pages. Those collect info about the pages, either through meta tags or actual page content, then store that stuff in the database, making it searchable.
