How old are you, about 20? Suppose you live until 80, that gives you 60 years. Believe me, that's plenty of time.

I keep playing around with the idea of learning Chinese, but it would likely take 2-3 years just to be able to get something out of the language and I don't really want it that much anyway.
I meant right now. Of course i will have free time some time in the future.

I'm 21 not 20!! Believe me, there is a big difference :p

China will be the superpower in the future, Chinese cultural hegemony might not be that far off then, so you might actually make use of the language. :D

I said about 20, that covers you up to 30

Yeah China is a fascinating country, but I've never been so into the culture to want to live there or go there all the time. I'd love to go on vacation, but you don't need to learn the language for that. But I do love how cool it sounds.

I was on vecchiasignora for a little while. I had nothing to say about Juve, just trying to find random conversations I could join. But outside of football those people didn't seem to share any of my interests, so after a few days I left.
How's your Italian now? Do you speak fluently?

I started last August and I've studied a lot. I wouldn't say I speak it fluently, but speaking is always my weakest language skill. I can get by, but it's not smooth yet. But I do read books on a daily basis, and I've watched lots of movies and dubbed tv shows.

    I'm planning to do that.

I'd like to introduce some Youtube channels that is useful for learning English. As someone who has faced many challenges for learning English and understands that not everyone has the option to travel to an English speaking country.

The most important part of learning a Language(based on my own experience) is comprehend the grammar rules and then watching movies to learn accent, slangs and idioms. Also watching speech in English and News can be useful if you want to boost your Listening.

You've been here since 2006, surely you must be fluent in it by now?

If anyone wants to learn English through reading text specially on this forum, I highly recommend following @Osman and @swag. Expressions/phrases, sentences that they use in their conversations are top notch and practical.

You are way too sweet! But english is like my 3rd language, I highly doubt I'm amongst even top 10 around here. Since there are so many native english speakers here.

And it's also uncanny to have followed your progress over the years, wildly improved at writing english compared to when you joined. When some of us thought you were bot/using Google translate :D

But seriously, kudos for your constant yearning to learn. Your eagerness and passion for learning anything and everything is a very charming qualify of yours.
