It's not about religion. It's about him insulting homosexuals. Now I don't really care about that so much, but it annoys me a great deal that people who don't know the first thing about HIV/AIDS are casting stones. By far the biggest problem is the fact that HIV/AIDS spreads through heterosexual contact anyway. If it didn't, the epidemic would be far smaller.

It's not just a factually incorrect statement. It's an explosive issue to say the least and our midget is deliberately denying facts to make a point. There is nothing that even remotely implies that homosexuality is unhealthy. He obviously doesn't know how HIV/AIDS spreads, but does want to point out that he thinks it has got something to do with being gay. Furthermore his religion tells him that homosexuality is wrong. Hey, I'm offended by religion too. Intellectually and morally. But I can't blame someone for repeating religious doctrine if that's what they believe. And I'm not going to do much good by condemning them, am I?

Thing is, even if he does have an agenda, he has the right to spread it. Why should we have to censor him? He probably can't do much damage around here, because we have enough people who know the facts. So it's not like he's some kind of predator to us.

I didn't insult anyone but you. You're dead wrong if you say homosexuality is unnatural. Hell, I'm not a fan of it and I think two gay men having sex is nasty to say the least, but animals do the same all the time. It IS natural. And why would you be so keen to prove that it's not? Because in a sick way that means you think that the theory of evolution is spot on. And you don't like that theory, because you believe ALLAAAAAAH made us the way we are. It if far easier for you to say that homosexuals are in fact natural. You could use it against Darwin.

Well, yes, I obviously do, but I think that on this very subject people need to react to so called opinions. The fact that a lot of Italians think this way is one of the reasons why it's killing in Africa. Religion is a global issue, so if there is something wrong with it, you need to counter it on a global level.

Evolution is by definition exploratory. Lots of things are tried, the best ideas survive. Even if heterosexuality is more conducive to reproduction that doesn't mean it has to be the only known form of sexual behavior.
