A few weeks ago I was going through a very stressful and hard period of my life and I dreamt that I got murdered; which was supposed to symbolise that I had dealt with all my problems (I asked someone who would know). It was a good dream.

Did you wake up before you died?

In my dream I was stabbed with a knife right through the heart. I woke up the second the knife went through the heart so I suppose the answer to your question is yes.

I also woke up with a stinging pain in my chest, where the 'knife' had cut me :undecide:

I know the feeling. I dream a lot of jumping from buildings being chased. Buildings 30-40 meters high. the thing is that i survive and have a technic to land from those hights. But it hurts as hell. So from time to time i feel the pain in my legs waking up...

Makes you wonder about dreams, doesn't it? I mean, what is it that made me wake up before I died and we can feel the pain; then what's to stop us from dying too?

Just your mind enhancing the pain as a warning. As in real life.
But do not underestimate the power of will...

Supposedly when you dream that youre falling and you wake up it means that your soul is trying to go out of your body but it cant.
When youre in a situation and suddenly you feel a deja-vu that means that sometime your soul actually got out of your body while you were sleeping and thats why you feel like you already lived that moment

But I´m not falling. I´m jumping with total controll. Landing on the streets after falling 35 meters. Roll to divers the fall into speed forward and then keep running. And I do it again and again and again...
