i have seen some weird shit on bart.

im pretty sure BART ranks up there with moroccan horse-carriages in marrakech and czech countryside taxis for most bizarre shit to occur during transportation

ive been on a train with 4 pairs of swat team members slowly creeping down, assault rifles drawn telling everyone to be quiet. Ive seen plenty of women who were actually men. Ive seen people shitting on the train. Ive seen people get in fights over bicycles, and all kinds of strange people.

And hell, i only ride the thing maybe 5 times a year
i know dont you just love it!!!!!!!

The Passat is a great car; privileged to have it as my first.

But what's "the one," Vlatko?
You should be man, simply great car. Especially if you drive a diesel, great engine and doesn't spend much.

Well from what(little) I've seen from your pic it seems to me you have the older model, the year 2002 model, I had the same one untill we bought the new line from 2006. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Actually, it's a 2001. The thing I love about VW's is that looks are deceptive... can't always tell the year models apart. It's a brilliant vehicle.

The new ones are simply stunning as well. The new features are state of the art and the style of them are progressive as always... all for a semi-reasonable price.

I don't have the Diesel though... 1.8T which still gets going very nicely.

Yeah 2001, we bought ours in 2002. That's a good description, state of the art for a semi reasonable price.

The new models are really stunning, the AUDI influence in the design is clearly visible and it looks just phenomenal. The new model has all these fancy and nice options, like the electronic handbrake which is really usefull for uphills and downhills. It also has some annoying stuff like the beeping sensors. Man whatever you do it's beeping. :D If you or the co-driver aren't buckled up it's beeping constantly, when you're parking the car, whether in first gear or reverse, the sensors are beeping so you don't hit anything in front or behind. Lots of beeping sounds but it's all worth it, the car feels like it floats, great engine. They did simply a great job.

We always buy diesels though, they're a little bit more expensive but the gasoline here is a little expensive so the diesel fuel compensates for that. We got the 2.0 TDI, 140bhp. Performance wise there's not much difference between the TDI and FSI IMO. Diesel's have gotten to the point when they are actually equal with their gasoline counterparts, just look at the latest Le Mans 24 races, the Audi diesel engines are kicking ass.

I drive a very simple, zero options car, manual gear (I'm loyal to MANUAL DRIVING, REAL DRIVING)

I'm thinking of upgrading to a Honda Accord next year...we'll see.

if i manage to convince my parent i might be able to take my dads peugeot 505 this summer (1992) its supposed to be a good car only problem is its takes up loads of fuel and its manual. i am not very good when it comes to manual driving to be honest i am just worried i might not be able to drive it specially thats its a big car too.

Big cars just take some getting used to, the only problems appear while parking in small places. But a little practice and you're good, it's nothing too hard. And yeah, that car drinks fuel like Burke beer. :D
