It's hard to describe how this picture makes me feel. I know it looks dirty and maybe even economically depressed, but its so powerfully nostalgic. The shit ton of snow, that dark red brick of the imposing apartments over those small storefronts, that graffiti, that old car, even that garbage pail. I can tell you for with 100% certainty that when that picture was taken it was completely silent on that corner regardless of the time of day and despite millions of people living right next to you, that's always how it was when it snowed a lot. It's all so different now, not that it's necessarily a bad thing. Though I've never been to this specific place, it's one that used to exist throughout the city when I was young. It's ironic, but to me it gives a calming, warm feeling. I do miss it.

And you could go around the corner and see the Ramones play at CBGB. :D

I’d accuse it for being a little long in the tooth save for Soul Glo, Scowl, and Teen Mortgage.

Feels a little heavy on the nostalgia. Portugal is a good move. Just avoid the funiculars.

Though I did a nostalgia tour show for the 20th anniversary of the Afro-Portuguese Afrobeat band, Cacique ‘97, at LuxFrágile last night. Low key and loaded with guest stars.

Just had a magnificent motorbike ride in Northern Greece mountains and feeling blessed! Do we have guys here that do a bit of adv/mild offroad riding?

Ps: BTW this is an actual picture of Juventuz members during this mercato!
