I spoke with my friend last week btw, she said they didn’t publish sufficient data to back their claim, as it says in this article aswel (“The work has not yet been published in a journal where outside experts can review it.”), therefore she’s very critical and sees this as a hoax. Also the type of radar they used usually is able to see just a few meters below surface, while they’re speaking of detecting those structures until 600 meters deep.

Honestly pretty great, but my experience with Mexicans is a bit mixed. I did not expect their English to be as poor as it is. They're glad when I switch to 'Spanish', which in my case is Italian with Spanish sounds. I also find them to be a bit aloof and quiet in general.
Then again the Mexicans that do speak English are very friendly and we've had awesome guides so far (we're doing Tulum, Bacalar, Calakmul, Campeche, Valladolid). So maybe it's just shyness.

My friend has been rejected many many times in the UK market for the sole purpose of not having the minimum required years of experience in the tech stack they are asking for, even though he has over 3 years of professional experience. It's exhausting to even get an interview nowadays, and learning the wrong language is just an extra burden.
