my gf's grandfather is 100 years old today. he's living in a nursing home since the summer, doesn't give a damn about everything, has a good mood every time, remembers his family by name, knows hundreds of poems and prayers, and you can still discuss sports or politics with him. we'll greet him this afternoon. i bet he can't wait for it to end. a 100% lovely guy

It’s interesting how people age differently based on circumstances and genetics. U get an example like this where the old man is doing well. Then u get 60 year olds who should be healthy but struggle with day to day tasks due to various genetic issues or lifestyle issues.
