Yes and no. While it's a funny bit, what the dead comedian fails to acknowledge is that there's a difference between being proud of your son who happens to be gay vs being proud of your son because he's gay. More likely the situation is the former rather than the latter, because many parents would be ashamed of having a gay child. (Ask any rapper.)
The whole problem with society nowadays is that we celebrate the latter.

I have a hard enough time with otaku manga fans and gaybois for Harry Potter.

Or lately, every frigging media outlet that's promoting a tie-in to the Barbie movie.

For years we have the gay parade in Amsterdam, it’s very degenerate but in general I’ve never had anything against it. That’s wasn’t enough though so they’ve added a second pride parade which lasts 15 days so now the degenerate capital of the Netherlands hosts two gay parades.

This is where they lose me. Wtf is going on with all this rainbow shit. Where is family parade? Where is ‘work your ass of to not reach the end of the month but thank you for sustaining society parade’?
Did you consider moving?

What don't you like about Rotterdam
I will most likely go for about a month to Italy in October or November for work, with a small possibility of staying for up to 3 years. If that opportunity comes than we’ll take it.

Besides that, both my wife and I are Italian, so on the long term we’d like to go and live there, so if we don’t go this or next year we’ll certainly either buy a house there when we’re older or inherent the house of her parents who live there.

It’s not like we don’t like it here btw or that we have the feeling that we want to leave asap. Don’t get me wrong on that. Both Italy and The Netherlands have good and bad things.

Family parades happen daily. You guys take your kids everywhere even when they should be kept at home. Instead, they’re sneezing in their hands and touching the conveyer belts at Costco.

Keep ur kids at home.

That's fucking crazy. I personally know people who left vacation spots in south Spain (last month), Rhodos and now Sicily because of the fires. Shits nuts.

It’s literally all over the place. But Sicily looks extremely bad. Starting to take over the whole island.

Greece is getting bad, too. I hope the entirety of Sicily burns so I can mock all those fake ITAlien Americunts.
I fucking love Greece. It’s just awesome. If I had to choose between Greece and Italy, well, sorry guys…

 You know, if that was garbage on fire, this would just be called "Tuesday" in Napoli.

What baffles me are the perspectives on all these news stories. Even the so-called reputable BBC: all the articles are centered on tourists and the horrors they must endure.

Like, OMFG, I had to leave my hotel and change my flights and it ruined my vacation schedule!

My heart bleeeeeeeeds....

It's a good thing nobody actually lives on Rhodes and is losing their homes or anything. :dai:

Makes me want to say, "F*ck those extractive tourists who can pack up and leave! People are being burned out of their communities and losing their homes, livelihoods, and ancestral lands."

I mean, look at this crap from the BBC when you search for Rhodes... practically every article talks about tourists with nobody referencing the impact to the people who might actually live there unless they're helping out tourists. :sergio:

F*$% the tourists. They're going home and had to change some plans, and that's it.

By that logic no parades ever should happen, all types of people happen to be on the street daily.

I agree with the Italian-Dutch guy, a 15 day parade is too much. I used to live on a street that was on the route of hare-krishna guys, who every evening at 19pm took a big lap singing their songs. Did not enjoy that every evening and would not enjoy a 15 day gay parade either. I value tolerance and think its a cornerstone for a healthy society, but everything has its limits.
